Although a short visit we were made to feel very welcome, staff very nice and helpfull, all areas of the service provided were excellent will definately use a premier inn again! 10/10 from me, thanks. The overall experience was friendly and I felt very well looked after by the staff. The food in the restaurant was also of a high standard.everything was very clean and comfortable, i would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in this area.

We werre moved to Premier Inn Barking at about 6PM because the Docklands Premier Inn was overbooked. The Barking Premier Inn was a dump. The only negative I would say is the area around the Inn was covered in litter and its a shame as we couldnt fault the cleanliness inside. Only one lift out of three was working and we were not told that we had to pre-book for the buffet supper on the Saturday night and when we arrived there was no more room for us to eat.no lifts working. At breakfast the system didn't take my AmEx credit card. The only concern we had was that when we came to pay for our evening meal, the waitress gave us the bill but put a larger incorrect amout in the credit card machine,whitch we noticed and she corrected after we pointed out this mistake. There was an hurrendous smell coming from the bathroom which waqs like sewerage and it was very noisy. I booked also a room for my collegue, but he missed his plane and arrived the next morning. I informed the reception about this delay, and they would charge us the room for the first night. That was according the rules at Booking.com. But when my collegue arrived the next morning at 10.30 hrs, there was no room available, which means to me, that they have given the room to somevbody else. So doubl. Breakfast choice (bakery) could be better. Bit noisy as trains ran past window and next to City airport. lifts out of order. The location for late evening arrival is difficult to access on public transport. Taxi journey from Liverpool Station was expensive to the hotel location. didnt like the car park a bit too busy.i was worried id get a ticket if i was not in the right car park. Booking 2 family room, but were allocated 2 double - managed to get one family another a battle. Was also not told about parking and consequently had parking ticket. Would suggest that the parking signs actually state "including residents at selected times" clearly. I normally stay at the Sunborn Yacht which we are given a notice to put in the vehicle. Info about the parking co would help. When I was greeted by the receptionist, she asked for my name onreservation and then quoted me nearly twice what my booking.com ratewas. If I had not brought my printed confirmation from bookings.com, Iwould have been charged the higher rate.The DLR was not operating due to engineering work on the railway line, when we asked reception how to get to the O2 Arena they advised a taxi because the bus service was bad and they used old and dirty buses, this we found was completely the opposite and it was a free substitute service to take you to Canning Town where you could pick up the Jubilee Line. When our taxi arrived it was not licensed. food. The fact that there was not enough milk to make coffee and tea when we wanted to and we would have lked two twin beds ... whoever was above us was stamping on the ceiling most of the night.... and making too much noise!. I didnt like anything about the Barking Premier Inn - rooms poor, noisy, television didnt work and some staff were unhelpfull.
