Very good location close to the excel centre,as i was here for the beauty show for two days,hotel room very clean, a good size for a twin room,good value for money.I would stay here again. The room was clean, warm, comfortable and the hotel's location was convenient for public transport - altogether good value for money. Excellent value for money - very close to Excel and handy rail links into the City centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was excellent, although it doesnt look much from the outside due to building works, the inside did them proud. The bar is very spacous and has a vast variety of drinks on offer. The breakfast was fabulous. The area itself is not very good, and it does take a few different tubes to reach the town centre, however due to the tubes only being minutes apart this timescale was very short.Friendly staff on arrival, clear instructions re: where to go/what to do. A bit out of the centre for my work, however the LDR station immediately outside the hotel was a real plus - hotel could make more of this fact for marketing (safer for single person travel) and ease of finding. Excellent location for docklands light railway for early morning access to London City airport. The Chinese restaurant was superb, as were all the staff. It is very convenient for Excel. Close to the Excel Center. I was there for the London Boatshow. Everything was ok.The situation of the hotel is good as very handy for DLR and underground. Good clean value for money hotel ideally situated for east london. The room was cold. hotel bar/restauraunt was being referbished, and was not informed of this. My only criticism was that the room was very cold when we retired for the night, but once we'd plugged in the heater it warmed up very quickly. The breakfast at the hotel was disgusting and we noticed that we were not the only ones to leave it. It would be good if the dining staff understood more english. the shower in the room being on the large size just about got in need walkin. The area is pretty bleak. Toiletries were a bit poor for the superior room I was in - no shower cap for female business users. But this is a small point. IMO,(not on an expense account,) an excessive charge for daily internet use. Another sachet or two of coffee in the room would have been good, and I'm glad that I'm no heavyweight, otherwise that shower would have been impossible.Nothing for the price paid. No leisure facilities.Yes the front restaurant. The ham burgers were some that one would buy from a chip van. I offered mine to someone else. Very disapointed. bed was to soft. the surrounding area is horrible and unsafe meaning that you are forced to use the hotel's own pubs and restaurants - but the food was poor. poor choice and very poor quality - not good for a captive audience. if you stay at this hotel, and there is nothing wrong with the hotel itself, then get on the tube and find a proper restaurant in a nice area. had to wait 1.3 hours for a meal. no parking. TV didnt work. We needed a location close to Woollich or Plumstead. This was a big awkard from the hotel. We had to get a bus and use a free ferry or the padestrian tunnell under the Thames. This was no fault of the hotel. A new tube station is to open in Woollich within the next couple of months, which would have been of great assistance to us. The bathroom was a bit like a fancy porta-loo, but it was clean and everything worked ok. For a weekend away, no problems but a bit cramped if staying longer.They should work a little more on making good food... but all the hotelstaff waiters and services are exellent. Would appreciate a bit more supply of coffee,tea and milk.
