My family and I loved this hotel! It is absolutely beautiful! The staffwas very friendly and helpful. Room was large and very clean. No complaintsat all and I will stay there again any time I am in the area!!! The building is some kind of manor, situated close to the shore, about 10 minutes walk to the centre of the town. Very friendly and correct staff, large room. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel!. The quality of the room particulkarly the jacuzzi bath!. Car parking was available at no charge. location ideal, service more than adequate, friendly staff, high quality of food, friendly hotel bar area, perfect for the short break person.Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is not included in the hotel price and is rather expensive. For example, we paid 23 pounds for a breakfast buffet for two persons. There was no radio in the room. Leaflets and stationary need replacing - the folder, pack and phone books were very dog-eared - but this is a very minor complaint. There was an awful smell in the room, and when we complained we were upgraded to a super room with no hassle from the manageress. On both mornings the cooked breakfast was cold.Room windows needed cleaning and there were no nets. Lack of heating in the bar area. Lighting in our room a bit sparce and the door to the bathroom kept sticking. Found the room very cold as the heating was not on and it was a cold night. Restaurant was also cold. Found £30 extra for three small dogs quite excessive.The jacuzzi bath did not work, the room was cold, couldn't get all the radiators to work. Room was too small. I don't like carpets in a bathroom - it's unhygenic.Tv too high up. The bedding and curtains seem old. The bed wasuncomfortable.The picture we saw was nothing like our room,our room was tiny. We had to change rooms as the cold tap did not work and the whole thing had to be replaced, and it was cold in the room. they moved us too another room which was nice but the bed was a pull down bed from the wall. The food in the restaurant was not very nice and definately not good value for money. we arrived at 14.00 hrs as per when rooms are available, only to be told it was not ready yet. we then had to wait nearly an hour before it was ready...... not impressed. i would suggest you should not make statements u cannot deliver on.

By Car (from central England/M25 orbital motorway):
- Take the M20 towards Folkestone.
- Turn off at junction 13, A20 for Folkestone.
- Take the 3rd exit off the 1st roundabout which is signposted A20 Folkestone; this will lead you to another roundabout.
- Take the 2nd exit off the roundabout into Cherry Garden Lane and continue until the traffic light junction.
- Take the middle lane to Beachborough Road, going under the bridge and bear left into Shorncliffe Road.
