Friendly staff and great breakfast. convenient location, nice big rooms. The only thing we liked was the location of the "hotel". Good linen and bedding. It was noisy form outside car and bus traffic and also the bar/club next to the hotel. I think over charged for the quality of stay in comparison with the other hotels' prices. Also the wallpaper both in the room and bathroom was about to fall off. The hotel was less modernised than expected. Very measly breakfast brought 20mins early. The rooms were shabby and outdated, the beds were uncomfortable and only a very thin cotton blanket was provided. Our basement room had constant sounds of drainage by the bed and pub noise into the late evening. Breakfast was low budget. While all facilities we saw listed seemed to exist, standards were well below what we expected in the price bracket.Room was dirty. The bathroom was aweful - blind was filthy and ceiling paper was falling down. My room was supposed to be a family room, but was a normal room with beds squashed in. My other Guests room was a twin room which was in better shape, but was still not a pleasent place to be. None of my party could even consider eating the breakfast so we left before it was ready, as did other guests.
