We spent 4 nights at Adanos Konuk Evi in Avanos early October and occupied for 3 nights the Urgup apartment and the Zelve room for the last night.
We had never stayed in a boutique hotel before and were delighted by our experience at Adanos Konuk Evi.
The apartment is conveniently located in Avanos although it is advisable to have your own rental

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel, we were greeted warmly by the family that owns this facility and the breakfasts were good and plentiful.
The rooms are more like quiet apartments with all the comfort of a hotel.
The hotel is well located and Avanos has the advantage of being less touristy than Goereme.
An excellent starting point for exploring the region by foot or by vehicle.

My children and I stayed three nights. It's within walking distance of the bus station and about two kilometers from the Göreme Open Air Museum. In the other direction are some other ruins if you prefer something away from most of the tourists. The night and morning managers were the epitome of hospitality--answering questions, giving marvelous recommendations, offering apple tea and just overall being excellent hosts. The rooms were clean & spacious and the bathrooms were very nice. T

This small hotel is all about the views, perched on top of a very steep hill with awesome postcard views of Goreme and surrounding areas. The common patio area and terraces were just so inviting and relaxing after a long day's sightseeing and a wonderful way to watch the sun set, even though the hotel itself is very close to sunset point.

Grand Cave Suites was a magnificent place to stay; carved out of part of one of the many Faerie Chimneys there in Goreme, the rooms give you an amazing feeling of wonderment. Ours had two windows that opened to a beautiful view of Goreme and other carved sandstone-like spires. At sunrise, you could see many hot-air balloons ascending in the sky. Fabulous! Not only were they the helpful about arranging tours, recommending restaurants, even reserving out of town excursions, they were some of the friendliest people we met in Cappadocia. They do everything to help make your stay pleasant, and your visit to the area as effortless as possible. Ask for Ilknur and Kemal, they were terrific.

We stayed 3 nights in Village Cave House Hotel and had a great time. The building itself was an old cave and our room was historically used as a kitchen. There was even an old fashion oven in the middle of the room- we loved it!! It was very nice and cosy. Also the owner was very helpful and friendly. Wow!!!! Possibly the coolest hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff was
incredibly helpful. They were instrumental in helping us get some of our
lost luggage from Kayseri airport. They booked all the tours for us and
made our trip so effortless. The views from the room were spectacular.
We are the envy of all our friends when we show them the pictures of our
room. Will definitely stay here again if given the opportunity.
