The suites were located close to town which made trips to grab a bite to eat easily accessible. Staff spoke english very well and were more than accomodating booking us tours, storing our luggage and offering us coffee or another beverage anytime we were outside. We also were able to check-in to the hotel at around 11am with only a short wait which was appreciated. The rooms were very cute and spacious and included a safe which was appreciated. The breakfast was also quite expansive and served .
all reviews » Wow!!!! Possibly the coolest hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff was incredibly helpful. They were instrumental in helping us get some of our lost luggage from Kayseri airport. They booked all the tours for us and made our trip so effortless. The views from the room were spectacular. We are the envy of all our friends when we show them the pictures of our room. Will definitely stay here again if given the opportunity. Very nice cave house! There are little stones kept falling down to our bed the first night and they changed us to a even better suite with the same price! And they start mending the former house at once. Very reliable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The staff was very accommodating when we had a sick member of the group. They also allowed us to check in early after our overnight bus ride from Denizli. The breakfast was the best one I had in Turkey. We loved everything about this hotel. Great location just above the town. Our cave room was cute, very warm and cosy. Helpful staff arranged airport transfers for us. Would definitely stay here again. Unique hotel. Friendly staff. As vegetarians, we could order a specific veg dish. We coud, even go to their kitchen and identify spices to go into the veggies. Hotel is located in the centre of Cappadocia region. Hot air balloons can be observed from the courtyard of the hotel and from some of the rooms. Clean, well decorated and silent rooms. liked the atmoshpere it was nice staff was friendly. Really no complaints, if I am looking to find a complaint the only thing worth mentioning is that the shower is a tub with shower head attachment to shower yourself in the bathtub rather than a stand-up shower. I had difficulty adjusting the heat in our room. It was cold outside, so we just opened a window and all was well. Small stones and sand kept falling from the roof. But it's a natural cave so that's not a big problem as long as they didn't fall onto our beds. I had a problem with Internet connection in one of the rooms. The air pollution, maybe carbon monoxide, from its own coal burning boiler in the backyard and the whole area's was really bothering. The beautiful balcony was of no use and compromised due to the polluted air. The Hot-tub's bubble system was not 100% working. It is over priced when comparing to similar hotels in the area. In hot weather there is no air conditioning... The second bed could have been more comfortable. Nothing at all !!!. Toilet could have flushed more efficiently. Some rooms are at Street level, so the noise can be a problem early in the morning. Not all rooms are built in the caves. nothing. Nothing to dislike - unless you don't like stairs as there are lots of them as the 'cave' hotel is built ( as you would expect ) on the side of a mountain. nothing that we didn't like ... it is a trip of a lifetime . No. Nothing. The hotel didn't have elevator. The hotel tours were quite expensive. Transfers from airport very expensive. There were mattresses lined up outside our room. The airport drop arranged was terrible. While the staff was efficient, they did not seem to be very tourist-friendly. Staff could be more informative and helpful. Dust and debris occasionally fall from the ceiling because the hotel is built out of volcanic rock -- this is understandable, but I think we could have been better-informed prior to arrival. make sure you cover your iPad, computer etc because dust from the cave constantly falls down. Most of the rooms' windows are very tight and face with the walls, rocks or courtyard. You should be sure that your room is at a higher position on the hill and looking to fairy chimneys (BEFORE BOOKING!.). *same breakfast everyday. *room was in a hollow was not happy about it at all it was more likely staying in a basement !!. Smell, linens,restaurant.
