  First when we read these comments we were little afraid how this hotel would be. When we arrived to hotel the girl who gave us keys were little late so we had to wait her for a while since there was no direct reception. Luckily because of excellent location there was nice restaurants near the hotel so waiting was not bad when we got something to e... what people say » at. Neighbourhood was really peaceful and safe, we didnt feel ourselves threatned at any point of our vacation. Doors had unbelievable safe locks sinc - This is my 2nd stay at the apartment and 10 out of 10 highly recommended.The apartment is in the city center which made it convenient to move around.The staff were extremely responsible ,polite,warm and friendly.The most important thing is that cleaning for me I can say that the lady who cleans the apartment was doing her best.Public transports on your door step.Reasonably price .

  The very strong and extremely valuable aseet of Antique Hippodrome is the location and the price for what you get! The position is absolutely fantastic. Suggestion is to use the facility just for sleep after a hectic outdoor long day. You should not expect this to be a facility with all amenities of a 5 star hotel. Is more a studio/apartment

  Location is just perfect - 5 min walk to the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofia. Nice breakfast at the terrace - though the terrace is in another hotel (5 min walk) which was weird. Rooms are okay - middle level but clean. Very helpful staff though speaking hardly any language apart from Turkish)) (in our building) Rooms were cleaned properly and on time.... what people say » - Although we had reserved the Appart Hotel Hippodrome we were lodged at the Hippodrome Hotel. We found the hotel very good, extremelly well located, and with a very good quality- price ratio in november.

  Wonderful staff! Very helpful and friendly. It was like staying withfamily. Bıg breakfast selection and dıfferent home made pastry every day.It is easy to skip lunch. Lower price rooms are small but well decoratedand quite clean. More expensive rooms are spacious and airy and have a view ofthe sea.   It is a very good example of a basic quality. Especially the cleanness of the rooms and hotel facilities impressed me. The location is unbelivable and the view is amazing worth everything. On - The dorm rooms and facilities are amazing with private curtains for the beds as well as some of the nicest bathrooms/showers I have ever seen in a hostel. It is centrally located in Sultanahmet or the old town of Istanbul that was formerly Constantinople. It is within walking distance to many of the historical attractions such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern and Topaki Palace.   Amazing staff, and well worth the price. I arrived before check-in time and was given free breakfast with the staff. Very friendly and helpful, and for the price, nothing to complain about. The location is perfect, as it is walking distance from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. They are all amazing and hilarious and work super hard to make your stay comfortable. If you are a musician then they have guitars. a violin, bongos, tambourine and another crazy turkish instrument which I don't know the name of.
