  Royal residences are really very close to the beach (5 min walk). Staff was extremely responsive and helpful! If needed something to be fixed in the apartment that was done immediately. 2 bedroom apartment we were staying in was huge. We were lucky to have balcony facing the pool and not the street. Although pool was popular, it was never overcro... what people say » wded and you could always find a vacant sunbed. Small supermarkets where you can find basic food are all around. Big supermarkets - easy access by loc - We stayed one night in Royal Residences and arrived late after a long drive. Alex was incredibly welcoming and we were glad to get food in his Chinese restaurant underneath the apartment block. The two bedroom apartment is spacious and reasonably well appointed. There is a large terrace with a great view of the sea. We chose Didim because of its closeness to the Didyma ruins. These are well worth a visit and top the Parthenon in Athens.
