Royal residences are really very close to the beach (5 min walk). Staff was extremely responsive and helpful! If needed something to be fixed in the apartment that was done immediately. 2 bedroom apartment we were staying in was huge. We were lucky to have balcony facing the pool and not the street. Although pool was popular, it was never overcrowded and you could always find a vacant sunbed. Small supermarkets where you can find basic food are all around. Big supermarkets - easy access by loc.
all reviews » We stayed one night in Royal Residences and arrived late after a long drive. Alex was incredibly welcoming and we were glad to get food in his Chinese restaurant underneath the apartment block. The two bedroom apartment is spacious and reasonably well appointed. There is a large terrace with a great view of the sea. We chose Didim because of its closeness to the Didyma ruins. These are well worth a visit and top the Parthenon in Athens. Large apartment in a very good position only a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants - would be an excellent place to stay for any period of time as the apartment has all the facilities required. Reception is a little confusing as it is in the office of 'Dream Homes'. Would highly recommend. Really bright spacious apartment with everything needed. It's just a short walk away to the beach and shops. The staff were fantastic, and it is a place we would stay again if we are back in that area. Price and location close walk to beach restuarants. Location. A very large self catering apartment in a Turkish style with air con and TV. Huge balcony and very close to the beach. Good location, great swimming pool. Would be great if the apartment was cleaned better before our arrival. In general it was ok, but small things irritated a bit. A couple of times we had no water supply at all (not sure what the reason was) but that got fixed relatively quickly. The area is mainly a resort with a lot of British type all day breakfasts and pubs. It may be fairly noisy in Summer. Nothing - all OK. It's very difficult to find if you are driving there yourself, we spent about an hour driving around looking for it. It is not sign posted as royal residences. You have to go into a shop called dream homes to check-in /check-out. Bottom sheets too small for bed. Took a while to find as called Royal Kings not Royal Residences name not that prominent. The pool in our building wasn't the one in the picture on the website. There are a number of different buildings and different pools. We didn't like Didim at all but the accommodation was good value. Very basic. Poor quality bedding, appliances etc.
