Very convenient location, beautiful hotel and friendly and competent staff. The room was very comfortable, and there was a nice rain shower in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was very nice and varied, as was the hotel dining. By the second day, the restaurant staff knew my drink order and table preferences, and the housekeepers were flexible in making up my room. Ample supplies of free bottled water - very important in Bangkok! The concierge service was also excellent. I would definitely sta.
all reviews » The staff were helpful and attentive. The breakfasts were excellent with a comprehensive range of cuisines. I was attending a conference in another hotel but chose to stay at the Intercontinental. Unfortunately I did not therefore have time to use the pool, spa or other hotel facilities. The concierge was extremely helpful in assisting us with last minute shopping information, restaurant information and with any enquiry we had. Don't miss Sunday Brunch if you can help it, the food was outstanding & the selection fantastic! Staff were all very friendly, pool staff were a delight. Cocktails in the lobby bar were outstanding. Rooms were comfortable, spacious & well equipped with a genourous supply of towels & bottled water. BST & covered walkway right on the doorstep. Central world mall only a few minutes walk away. We were there for our honeymoon. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is right across from Central World Shipping Mall and very near Siem Paragon Mall which is an excellent choice for all branded items. Breakfast is superb. The beds was too soft for my preference but my wife loved it. Overall, this is a good hotel.. The room is noot good wallpaper damage i. All was good. Unfortunately they don't offer any incentive for Thai residents to choose this hotel. Where as many other hotels do. Nothing. we booked 4 rooms but we were given only 1 room after an hour of waiting and for the other rooms we had to wait till 6 pm to get the rooms. but as a compensation they gave us a late checkout for two rooms till our flight time at 10 PM. Bing too far Sea or River view. The ac was not cool enough. Need to be refurnished. Front Office staff service are too proud only interested to serve with customer with status and class. Room rate did not include of wifi which abit not value for money. For a long stay their food menu didn't meet my expectation. Nothing. no kids facilities other than the swimming pool. Quality of towels. Massage in the room was 20% more... Spa , Some of the conserg do not understand English and do not talk to you about what's near the hotel. No free wifi in room. Internet Barth !!!!. Nothing.
