- Room service menu is pretty good and you can taste local thai foods which is rare in room service menus - breakfast has a wide variety and all is very good and tasty - rooms are very nice especially onthe top floors where you can get a nice view over bangkok - located right next to the main shopping centers, sky train station makes it a very convenient starting pou t for visiting bangkok - lumphini park just a block away majes it great for a walk or run early morning - nice swimming pool an.
all reviews » Everything.. Hotel is spic and spam, staff are so friendly with such lovely smiles on their faces all the time. I glad I picked the right one from so many options in Bangkok. I have never seem any city worh sp mich traffoc prpblem, so best way to travel is by train and this hotel is Walking distance from train station. 1 stop to Siam and one stop to MBK! Convenient for shopping. And ofcourse for business trip, it's right in business district. Will go back again, for sure!. A beautiful hotel. It was an oasis of comfort and luxury. The staff and service were extraordinary from the Chrysanthemum Tea we were offered at check-in to the helpful money exchange and taxi procurement at check-out. The location is perfect as it is around the corner from the subway. The view of the city from the 29th floor was spectacular. Excellent value for the money. Highly recommend this hotel. The system needs a key to activate the door and the lift,many times were blocked by too much of a business like reception stuff for minor quests and that was upsetting and irritating. The reception stuff is not too attentive to guests requests like for example of charging the visa card while cash payment is in hand include a verbal request. The dining way to expensive. Some of the staff are stupid. They charge you when you order ice. V small complaint but reported washing machine leaking and controls not working (had to manually move cycle from wash to rinse) on first day there, housekeeping arrived within minutes, put down a towel and said machine would be fixed. When we left five days later nothing had been done to resolve the problem!. They did not serve alcohol, the dine-in food was not as good as I expected. Nothing. Not really a big issue, but the internet service in the business rooms in the lobby should be free of charge. All good!. staffs in front desk, coffee shops , some of them are lack of courteous and showing annoyance to me .. when inconveniences or mistakes were actually caused by the hotel. they didn't even apologize but made me feel that it;s me causing the trouble ... none. Need to teach more employees basic English for communication. They ask you for deposite which then will keep for many many days after check outs. The buffet breakfast one of the worst I've had...pieces of ham floating in water...come on! We disliked it so much skipped it the next day even tho included in cost....very basic and uninviting. The staff can be a little bit moody and uncompromising - A workshop and customer relation training would go a long way as this a great hotel that is only let down by the staff being a little bit moody. Not being able to purchase alcohol. needs A bit of maintenance to bring it back to what it used to be. Breakfast was the same every day and more Japanese oriented.
