The otel design is unique. Paintings everywhere is a very good idea. Staff is friendly. Location is perfect, just near to the Kazan Kathedral, every important place of St.Pet. is on a wailikng distance and Nevski Street is nearby. Contrary to some negative comments, my room was silent. Perfect cost/quality ratio, good place going to St.Pet as 1-2 people

Location is prefect, Winter Palace of 2 minutes slow walk, although closest subway station is about 15-20 minutes walk. The room size is enough for a couple and those who gonna be out of the hotel for city sights in most time. Breakfast is great with the menu offerred a day before.

I like very much the state of the room and the work of personal, responsible for cleaning as well as the work of the receptionists, which were very friendly and helpful to us.
Especially I would like to single out Irina (at reception desk) and Vera (the waitress responsible for breakfast with her very friendly attitude and jazz music in the morning).

Everything was wonderful - plasma with satellite TV, bathroom facilities, teacups with a kettle inside room, mini-kitchen, iron and iron-deck, microwave, refrigerator in the hall. They often change towels and bed linen, clean the room too.
Bus and tram stops are not far from the hotel. -
