  I stayed at this establishment twice during my recent vacation to Poland. As I reported in my first note, I found it very welcoming, friendly, excellent value for money, and quite comfortable. The all female staff - Joanna (the Boss), Hannah, Anna, Dominica, Justinia and Carolina, set and maintain a very high standard of care, welcome, and frien... what people say » dliness. I, as an older gent, particularly appreciated the high security, and the fact there is a lift to the 5th floor, where the Hostel is located. - I arrived after a 27 hr coach trip from London. THe receptionist who handled my booking was Joanna, the boss herself. I was immediately made to feel at ease and completely welcome, and nothing was too much trouble for her to do. THe other girls on duty during the two days of my first visit (I an currently here again for another four nights) kept up the standards set by Pani Joanna. I thouroughly recommend this establishment.   Located in a quiet peaceful area, which was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring the many beautiful sites in Krakow. Takes about 15 mins to get to centre city by tram or bus and transport is pretty cheap. I've travelled most of Europe and must say this was the best value for money I have found! I would and probably will stay there again. - I find this a quiet spot good for a sense of real neighborhood life, on the way to Wieliezcka Salt Mine attraction, The host family is kind and helpful. WiFi is good, bedding fresh, and a feeling of privacy in a big home. Having a little kitchen in the room is convenient. I like the big bathtubs in the shared bathrooms. An excellent value. I will stay again.

  This hostel was very charming, clean, lovely decorated and well situated (calm and green surroundings, very nice view on the mountains).   We booked the apartment on the 1st floor. It was larger than we expected and definitely worth what we paid for it. Hostel was quiet, which I count as a plus. It is near Ul. Karmelicka which had plenty of shops to keep our fridge stocked and a 10 minute walk from the Stare Miasto. Host was friendly and helpful. We only visited the common room once ... what people say » on the last day but it looked welcoming. - We arrived into Krakow on a very late flight and didn't reach the hostel until 1 am. We had to wake the proprietor to check in, for which we felt very badly. However, he was very gracious and professional, and did not show the slightest touch of irritation at the situation. Our apartment was very clean and faced onto a quiet courtyard. We had a good night's sleep.
