Warsaw Hotels

Hotel Metropol was ideally located for both the old town and the new town. A 20 min walk and you were in the heart of the old town, under a 10 min walk with luggage and you were at the main train station. The hotel was clean and staff friendly. The rooms had no air conditioning but were clean, spacious and had storage space for clothes and luggage. Rooms were also noisey due to the street traffic and our balcony was covered with green mesh due to renovation work I think. The duvet for the bed - Hession

A really nice stay, once we had found it! Great breakfast with good coffee, the lobby and rooms were spacious, new and clean and those on reception were only too happy to give advice on getting in and out of Warsaw, together with the best way to reach Krakow on public transport and most importantly, which ticket window out of 20 at Warsaw Central station to buy tickets from! The only negative was not being having a correct email address off the website and hence, not able to recieve direction - Ermelinda

Very beautiful Hotel, placed at a very central place and very near to all sorts of public transports. Hotel staff is soooooooo friendly and go out of the way to provide any kind of help you ask them. Hotel interior may be some what old fashioned but still the rooms are worth a comfortable stay. Only draw back in the room is the Tv. Not many english channels. My wife and I recently booked four nights at the Polonia Palace via the internet and were somewhat concerned that we were relying only on its marketing on the web. We never have visited Poland and were uncertain what we might encounter once we arrived. Much to our delight, the hotel far exceeded our expectations and its marketing. We stayed at the Westin in Warsaw for 4 nights, and had a really pleasant experience. The hotel room was really spacious and the decor was fresh. The rooms were really 'airy' with loads of light and sprawling views. The staff were friendly, courteous and professional. The “heavenly” beds are ‘heavenly’ indeed – this is something that he chain is known for. The hotel itself is lovely for being a 3 star, I'm staying here for 2 weeks after being relocated to Warsaw and needing to find an apartment. It is clean, the staff are really friendly, the breakfast is good if not basic, the rooms are quite large too. However, the hotel centres around a courtyard at the back of the hotel and oh my life, what noise it generates! My first trip to Warsaw - but hopefully not my last. The Intercontinental is rather new - the rooms are in the new international hotel style - super stylish. When telling the clerk that it was my first visit to Warsaw and this hotel I was upgraded to a room higher up... Fantastic... The view from 27th floor is completely unobstructed - and despite very large windows very private. Le Meridien Bristol in Warsaw was the best Hotel where we stayed during our 10 days trip to Poland ! We booked a Executive room directly with the hotel and had a Summer package rate which included the breakfast for us 3. I do not understant the complains about the room from some of the previous reviews! Our room was incredible...enormous( as well as the bathroom!),with beautiful furniture and the most comfortable bed that we have had in any hotel! This hotel is in a very good location and is close to the main train station and many of the attractions in Warsaw. Upon our arrival, we walked to the hotel and despite our early arrival on a Sunday we found that our room was ready. It was lovely to be able to freshen up after an overnight train journey. The hotel is also close to the Zlote Tarasy (Golden Terraces) shopping centre which provides everything anyone could need under the one roof. My fiance and I stayed here while traveling through Europe. It was a very nice hotel, great lobby, very good food, and very good service. Our flight got in late and unfortunately the hotel shuttle was not at the airport. We had to take a cab, but it was not very expensive as it's close to the hotel. We were given a traditional european room with the two small beds that look like matchboxes, but they were comfortable nonetheless. Although it has been a while since we visited Le Regina, I'm since catching up with hotel reviews and certainly felt it deserved a glowing report. Reputation speaks for itself. Prior to our visit, I understood the hotel to be the best in Poland and has since found itself proudly listed in Trip Advisors top 100 hotels to stay in the world. This year it was winner of the luxury hotel category. To stay in a hotel of this calibre, at such incredible value is worth a trip to Warsaw itself. I drea - Victor

Nice Radisson standard hotel with great gym and pool area. Excellent service but the breakfast buffé wasn't quite as astonishing as others have mentioned on TA. The location is maybe the only downside, but Warsaw is made for taxi riding so it doesn't matter too much. Beware of the "Radisson" taxis though, they charge way more than the regular ones. - Alyson
