Excellent location, unique design, large double rooms with a cozy sitting area, wonderful breakfast. The room was a part of a former lifting crane which was reflected in its style. It was also nicely decorated with wood. Great value for money. I would rate it a 5 star hotel not 3 star one.

Great hotel, built in 1886. You feel you've gone back in time when you walk into the hotel and rooms. The staff speaks English and is extremely helpful and friendly. Thanks to them, we could check-in early. Great location in the old city, a couple of minutes walking distance to all interesting sights and the river. The room had a fridge and an electric kettle. We had larger "comfort" room. Clean comfortable and spacious. Extra space had lounge chairs and desk. Fridge and electric jug in room (but no tea or coffee provided). Staff very friendly and assistive. Fifty meters from old town. 15 minute walk to bus or train stations. -

This was my second stay at the Polonia Hotel in Torun and I will certainly stay there again.
The staff cannot do enough to help you, whether getting you an extra pillow, sending faxes or arranging travel they do it well. The hotel is in an ideal location in the Old Town and I expected it to cost a lot more purely for the location. -
