  Reception was most helpful on arrival, giving information we wanted, without needing to ask. Being on the edge of the old town it did not take long to walk in to the square. Our room was small but elegant with a nice modern bathroom, a small fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and 3 bottles of water each day. Breakfast was very good, as well as the cold buffet you could have cooked food. Dinner in the restaurant was also very good and excellent value.   Great customer service and understanding. We called up on the evening of arrival, saying that we cannot arrive tonight, as due to unforeseen circumstances our car broke 200km from Krakow. We asked if we could cancel the reservation, even though the cancellation deadline is 24h upfront. Super cool and quite unusual - Location was superb, two minutes from the centre square. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful (we had a problem with my brother arriving from a different destination and missing a plane; we also changed appartments as the first one was very noisy with a night club opposite). The flats were very spacious and ideal for small groups of people. Value for money was superb for property right in the centre of the town.

  Hotel Grodek is an excellent small hotel, with no detail left unattended. Its location is far better than any other hotel I saw in Krakow -- perfectly quiet, only two short blocks to the main square with easy access to the Jewish quarter. The room was excellent and the service was excellent. Perfect in every respect for my wife and I. The hotel itself was situated very close to the main square and this left it very easy for myself and my husband to walk in and out of the main square.I will definately visit again however I will take my family along.
