  Location is amazing, you're just in front of the sea, every room has a patio and a wonderful view of the panorama. The entire structure is wooden with the typical garden roofs you can spot around Norway. Everything is very clean, comfortable and thought about relaxation, for example in the patio you find a bench and a swing chair with pillows. They offer a very nice menu, and their Salmon is somet - Very eccentric Norwegian lodge located directly on the Sognfjord. Simple limited menu in the hotel with no other available dining options. Very peaceful environment. The manager is a South African expat and is very friendly.

  Location right by the fjord, station and ferry dock. Quality of the accommodation is excellent, though being a hostel, it is quite basic. There is a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare yor own food, or eat stuff bought from the Greenway take-away trailer that is just by reception. Surrounding scenery is magnificent. Train ride to Myrdal is... what people say » a must-see! - We had a great stay here: very friendly atmosphere and stuff, nice surrounding, all facilities in and outside of the room were excellent, clean and comfortable. In the territory even there was a kind of cafe with good food and reasonable prices. We felt like at home.

  First off, Flåm cannot be missed if you're in Norway or Scandinavia. Must check it out. The staff at Fretheim were very helpful and friendly. I was running to catch my train so I didn't have time to thank the server at breakfast but if he sees this thank you very much! The receptionist was even more helpful, told me where to go, what to - The town of Flam is in a beautiful setting at the end of the Fjord- we went hiking and it was breathtaking- so beautiful- I would recommend renting bikes and riding back to Aurland- along the Fjord, a beautiful setting- the bkie ride from Flam to Mrydal is only for people who have experience- it is a winding path, steep mountians and lots of uphill- only do this if you are in shape and know how to ride a mountain bike- you could also walk this trail or part of it

  The staff are all lovely. Brilliant location, only 5 mins drive to the Nigardsbreen Glacier. Lots of outdoor adventures to be had. Really good breakfast, delicious home made jams and apple juice.   Clean room and really new building. Kind lady at reception. Nice guest kitchen to be used for dinner and breakfast if needed. Price is not cheap but we're in Norway - Really clean and good conditions for that money. Very good for group of friends. Place for BBQ, mini-football, beach-volleyball. Min. facilities but enough.

  Our welcoming was brilliant, we arrived in the dark rain but were dropped off right at the door. Woke up to the most phenomenal view in the morning. The perfect place.
