  Solbakken hytte stryn This is the cutest accommodation ever we have stayed during our many years of travel experience. It is a cute Norwegian house on a mountain with a fantastic view around. We were wondering what would be inside a wooden Norwegian house. This house had all amenities(refrigerator, kitchen, utensils, some spices, sugar, tea bags, ... what people say » fire place, dishwasher, washing machine, attic, four bedrooms including two in the attic, crib, balcony, barbecue stand; you name it, it is there). - An excellent place. Ideally located in the Fjords land. A very convenient apartment with friendly owners. We loved it.

  This was one of the highlights of our Trip around Norway. Relaxed hospitality as it should be. Excellent local produce, no choice and yet the meal was enjoyed by all 12 dinner guests. Hikers are encouraged to make their packed lunch from the breakfast buffet. Beautiful bright and clean rooms in a charming set of farm buildings. Fiords, waterfalls ... what people say » and easy to find. What more could you ask. - The Gentleman that runs this hotel deserves a great deal of credit. The rooms are modern comfortable and well maintained. The food we had was delicious and well presented. We asked for advice on hiking routes and he was very enthusiastic and informative. Our stay at Nes Gard was one of the highlights of our holiday

The cabin was large and very well equipped and in excellent condition - many kitchen appliances which worked well, warm enough for us who live in the tropics.
