This hotel i rather standard in everything. However there are a couple of positive things. * Weekdays the kitchen chef starts up the kitchen room stove and makes omelets and other forms of eggs to your liking. Pancakes are also served. Very nice! * The library room with a tiny pub provides a waffle iron and premixed waffle mix - free of charge. * The hotel provides an, as far as I understood, free, light, dinner with sandwiches and other bread and butter dishes. A real value in expensive Norw - Peter

Good location and quiet, but the hotel is nothing special. The buffet dinner was a surprising plus with a good selection, but not a great experience. The service was also very good. A tip is to go down on the harbour and buy fresh prawns from the fishing boats where they advertise “ferske reker”. Buy 1 litre for two, get an extra bag and sit down and munch them at one of the benches along the waterfront. Prawns will never taste the same. - Ibrahim
