  I found the hotel to be well presented despite reading reviews of the rooms being dated. I also had a room at the rear of the hotel overlooking the park which was exceptionally quiet despite reading reviews about noise. Helpful and pleasant staff. We had an internal room & although there was no natural light, it was silent so we slept brilliantly. It was a good size and had everything you would expect. The location is great: very central and it is easy to walk to all the attractions of the city.

  My husband and I stayed at Citybox from the 25.10.13 to 27.10.13 without any problems. I agree with some reviews below, it is a hostel and not a hotel. However we had a very comfortable stay in an en suite room in an expensive city. This place was not only cheap but also walking distance to everything as Bergen is a small city. Our bed was comfort... what people say » able, our shower was warm and our sleep was uninterrupted. No tv in the rooms but my husband loaded a couple movies for us to watch on his tab. The wi - Very close to the railway (5 min max. walking) and to the city center (10 min walking). Kitchen with microwave oven and tables. The cutlery can be borrowed from the bar opposite to the kitchen. The rooms are clean and the shared bathrooms are most of the times clean (mostly depending on the other guests which are sharing the bathrooms with you). The room had an electrical heating system, which was very good.

  Design of the main building. Very cosy and traditional, restaurant and wifi are avaliable. Lots of hiking trails and amazing waterfall 10 minutes away. - The owner is very friendly and wait for us until 23:00. The room has kitchen so that you can bring your own food and cook. I like it!:)

  These were perhaps the most relaxing and peaceful 2 days of our big Scandinavian trip. After 5 hours drive from Oslo, we reached Liseth conveniently located half-way between Hardangervidda plateau and Eidfjord, 20 min walk from Voringfossen waterfall. We stayed in a 3 bedroom cottage No.14 accomodating 7 people.   Really Good kitchen facilities with fridge, microwave and even oven, etc. The hostel is also extremely close to the center and train station wich is quite convenien considering the fact that it is quite moutinous area Staff is also quite friendly and helpful even though our group made some troubles for them. They used my credit card number so that we were able to open the doors and left the note in our room (we booked t - First of all, we love its location which is extraordinarily convenient. Secondly, the staff is very nice and upon check out, we could negotiate to pay only 2 sets for bedsheet, pillow and towel as 3 of us only used 2 sets ultimately. On the accommodation floor, everything is well organized and we could feel like we were staying at home.   We got to there very late, but staff were understanding and left us the key. The flat was clean and included necessary facilities. - It was so nice, we wished we could have stayed longer. Owners very helpfull.

  We loved this place. It was our favorite in Norway and Denmark. If you can't do steep stairs well this is not the place for you but other then that everything was excellent and we would stay here again any day.
