  After arriving on a 6.30am flight from Australia we were able to access our room and staff were very accommodating. We would recommend this hotel as it's close to public transport and takes approx. 15-20mins into the centre of Auckland. - We found the room very comfortable for the one night we were there. Excellent beds which is very important ... what people say » and all the facilities we needed. A fuse problem, which left us in the dark, was rectified as soon as the office was notified.

  It's a basic hotel, no frills, you pay for what you get. All of the reception staff were excellent: Very friendly and helpful. I arrived early and a room was made ready immediately. I had issues with TV channels and additional wifi was given as recompense. Good location, handy to some reasonable restaurants and grocery shops. Very basic kitchen items, eg no tin opener, no sink to wash plates, just bathroom basin. Very pleasant lady on reception. But good value for money and very handy to most places.

  This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel/motel, and on both occasions we have been very pleased with the room and the service. The free parking and shuttle to and from the airport is a significant bonus. We'll be staying again in September. Early reviews should be disregarded. The present reality exhibits none of the problems mentioned... what people say » previously. - I loved the people/staff they were really helpful and friendly although I had a little trouble understanding their accent at times, they really took the stress out of getting to and fro the airport and were very accomodating with parking even though it was in short supply. Also a cot was there all ready for our infant that I had e-mailed and inquired about.

  Older motel but very clean and excellent beds. Close to Denny's for breakfast or it had refrigerator, microwave and hot plate with dishes in the room. Great place to stay if on a budget. - liked that I could walk to everywhere i needed to go! And that is was so close to the airport but no plane noise.
