As we attended a dog show nearby, this Bed & breakfast was perfect as the owners allowed dogs ( kept on the veranda in his crate). We had lovely weather and the setting was idyllic. The owner & her helper were very friendly and welcoming. The bed and bedding were luxurious, and the breakfast was a feast for the eyes and stomach, lots to graze and enjoy. I enjoyed the attention to detail in presentation of the room and in the breakfast and the hospitality.

The staff are extremely professional whilst still being friendly. Service was great as was the high tea experience. The location takes some beating for easy access to the City attractions. The entry level room was spotlessly clean, a good size for two, very comfortable & well appointed. This hotel really knows a thing or two of service provision & has totally changed my alliance from my usual Auckland 5 star Hotel to the Stamford - can't wait to return – thanks to all.

We have been on a 7 week trip of Nz and Oz and the Quay West Suites rate the highest amongst all the accommodation we have had. We were very impressed with all the staff from the cleaners to the reception. The suite was comfortable and very clean with a superb view of the harbour. The air con was silent so we were able to leave it on all night

Staff were very accommodating of my 50th birthday girlie gathering. We had booked a three bedroom suite and was upgraded with the extra villa to a two bedroom deluxe suite. The staff were friendly, always greeted us as we passed by and no request was ever too much trouble. Loved the peaceful ambience of the hotel with the low lighting of candles after dark. Loved the location just made for a leisurely stroll or a power walk along the beautiful waterfront. The outdoor cafe worked well for a light breakfast and the restaurant and bar were great at night. All of those things worked together to make our stay special and memorable.
