Amazing staff! cannot ask for more. In the request section I asked for a hand drawn giraffe on a napkin to be waiting in my room and sure enough I received it. In the morning the staff and I had a bit of banter about it as well and posed for photos with it for me. An amazing place. -

Great food - I purchased a KPN scratchcard for internet connection over their wlan hotspot, but the website rejected my card details as invalid. The hotel personelle did not charge for the card, which was the proper reaction in my view. Their reaction was prompt, unburocratic and generous. Excellent.

Holiday Inn Express. The pick-up service from the airport was much
appreciated, the bedrooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was
good. The proximity of the railway station in Hoofddorf, which was a
short walk, was great as our flight the following day was an evening one

Easily the friendliest staff of anywhere we stayed across Europe.
Want to make your own cup of coffee or tea in your room ... it's all there for you. Want to iron your clothes ... there is an iron and ironing board in your room ( the first time we'd seen this in Europe in over a month of travel). It's these little differences that just make travel so much easier.

Like everything here - this place gives a chance to rest and to discover natural Holland. The breakfast was really home-made and varied a bit every day. Room on the first floor was very light, big enough with comfortable bed things.

I have never been to more romantic place than this. You can have a glass of good wine on the terrace in the evening and watch the full moon reflecting in the watter just 3 meters in front of you. In the morning you can spend ages by waking yourself up by a mug of hot coffee and feeding the ducks with bread and you will have the feeling you can nearly touch them. It's pretty far from city center (6 km or somethIng like that) but this is absolutely no problem in the world's cycling capital. Early
