Excellent stay. We chose this as it is something different and more fun than an ordinary hotel and it was fabulous. Centrally located (10 mins walk from Centraal) but quiet. The standard of accommodation was excellent. Lovely to sit in the wheel house with a drink in hand looking out over the water. Very friendly and helpful host. Would definitely stay here again.

Exceeded our expectations in every way (lots of little treats as well!) Fantastic location to see the real Amsterdam (not just the red light area)

We picked this because of the price and because we drove up from Brussels. Parking in the inner city is very difficult.Great help from the owners beforehand and when we got there. We'll appointed, excellent facilities including a fridge full of beer & spirits. For a group of guys on a football trip this was heaven. You have to love the Dutch!

Monica and her husband were excellent hosts. The house was stocked with
drinks and groceries and though it was not free I felt that the prices
were fair. Location was quiet and 5 mins walk from the nearest tram
which took about 20 mins to the centre of town. We were a group of 5 and
everyone in the group was impressed at the value for money. We will
definitely be back.

All of the staff were gracious and solicitous. Our room, though without a canal or garden view, was beautifully designed and exceptionally quiet. One of the reasons we chose Canal House was the garden which exceeded our expectations as a comfortable and beautiful place to chill out, read and enjoy a pre-dinner aperitif. As I needed to rest my foot one day, it was a particularly welcome amenity.
