I stayed in this hotel with my wife. We arrived sooner than planned in
Amsterdam and had to leave our baggage in the hotel before the check-in
time, but that was absolutely no problem. The room is perfect, clean and
spacious, with a great view to the river and equipped with a nice

Excellent stay. We chose this as it is something different and more fun than an ordinary hotel and it was fabulous. Centrally located (10 mins walk from Centraal) but quiet. The standard of accommodation was excellent. Lovely to sit in the wheel house with a drink in hand looking out over the water. Very friendly and helpful host. Would definitely stay here again.

We picked this because of the price and because we drove up from Brussels. Parking in the inner city is very difficult.Great help from the owners beforehand and when we got there. We'll appointed, excellent facilities including a fridge full of beer & spirits. For a group of guys on a football trip this was heaven. You have to love the Dutch!

Monica and her husband were excellent hosts. The house was stocked with
drinks and groceries and though it was not free I felt that the prices
were fair. Location was quiet and 5 mins walk from the nearest tram
which took about 20 mins to the centre of town. We were a group of 5 and
everyone in the group was impressed at the value for money. We will
definitely be back.

Five Star Delight
We have just returned from the best stay we have ever had in Haarlem. When you make a hotel booking you read the reviews, the pros and cons, and then make your choice. We choose “Bed and Breakfast L'Anders”. This is a small 4 bedroom place with the rooms above the restaurant facing onto the beautiful square.

We had the most pleasant experience and never wanted to leave but had
already made arrangements to move on. The room was spacious and very
comfortable. We were given the room that overlooked the center and It
was discussed that if we were to return we would stay for an extended
time. You can take the public transportation to the surrounding cities
if you wish to. What a wonderful experience we had. We would like to
thank all the people there that welcomed us and treated us like family.

Everything, one of the most pleasant, relaxing holidays we've had. Our 4 year old loved it. The owners could not have been more friendly and helpful. We went without a car and this meant a lot of walking to bus stops, but this was no problem for us. The surrounding towns were fascinating places to visit. -
