We loved everything! Except the stairs. Our room was up 5 floors of steep stairs but if you can get over that... The rest was awesome! Extremely clean, very large, very well equipped, great bathroom, large kitchen area, special comfy beds and very modern. Make to mistake, this is top notch and shows the owner really cares to make you feel special. Thank you !. rooms were large,well equipped,massive bed,clean,very good location,not in city centre,but just a very short tram ride away.the location is very good.owners were brilliant and after a quick welcome,left us in total peace.i cannot recommend this place highly enough.a place you will love instead of having to stay in busy noisy hotels,and comparable in price.
all reviews » +++Spacious fully equipped room, rather an appartment actually with an ethnic-inspired decor and a large, very comfortable bed; friendly, relaxed well-travelled lady-owner; green, quite surroundings; being awaken by myriads of birds; loads of info and brochure in the room; lots of quality coffee-houses and restaurants all around. Very well run place. The apartment is in a fantastic location on a lovely quiet street. De Pijp has some great cafes and the bustling market is worth a browse. The owner is very friendly and helpful - directions from the airport were excellent. Spacious room with a kitchenette available, quiet area where you can experience the local environment, good location to move to the center and the RAI together. We lliked to stay at the Colors it feldt like to have your own appartment. And the owner Tanja is a nice lady who you can ask for anything if you need help. Tanya was amazing with giving us tips around the area and left us to explore it ourselves. The place was amazing. We wished we had of stayed longer!!. Very friendly, very good value for money, pleasantly and tastefully decorated, nicely located - a really splendid B&B. It was close enough to the centre to enjoy and far enough away to relax. White room: -Very clean -Tanja -Location -Comfortable rooms. The location, nice modern apartment, comfortable bed. Nice staff,good size of the room!. In Amsterdam, you have to live with stairs like everybody else. They are normal here. We only went up them once at the end of the day so they were not that big of a deal. We would like to stay here again because we were so well cared for. stairs were a little steep,but does not affect the stay at all. Not much to complain about; it's more an appartment-house than a bed&breakfast (there's no real breakfast but a Senseo coffee machine and biscuits are provided); the garden is probably restricted to the basement rooms but we didn't ask, so check. The accomodation is in an old house typical to Amsterdam so be prepared for the long and very steep staircase. Also note that this is an apartment and not a B&B. There is no option to pay by credit card. The stair... but they're not that bad really. Stairs. Typical Dutch town house. - The STAIRS of course! (but we had really fun with them, just be careful when you get drunk, the stairs are fatal) - Something about Amsterdam: Bicycles, ice on the walking roads and the unbeatable wind may also be fatal when you are high!. Very high and long staircase. This is normal in holland but be prepared for it!. The staff, though friendly, were not there upon check-in, which was a major drawback. Although the wait time was less than 30 minutes, a normal hotel would have had no wait time.
