They even tracked us down by phone to tell us that a museum we thought closed at 9 was to close at 7. Our room was pretty small, but to be expected from a city centre hotel, especially in Amsterdam, however it was immaculately presented, beautifully decorated, and the bed was so comfortable we nearly didn't make it up in the morning.   The fact that it is so close to the main train station and near the most exiting area of Amsterdam, as well as the fact that my staying in the hotel provided me much comfort. - chilling at the bar. Going for a swim. That there was secure parking. The staff were excellent in helping us when our passports were stolen, when we were out site seeing.
