Lovely room, comfortable beds, nespresso machine was a nice touch. Breakfast was very good with a choice of cooked dishes and a cold buffet. The spa had just opened but we had forgotten our swim suits.

The location, facilities and above all the staff who were very friendly and helpful.
This was especially true when I caught "Dutch Flu" and they let us stay in the room for an extra 2 hrs until it was time to go to the Airport - Gaston's suggestion.
Also Gaston's mum who runs a shuttle service to the Airport deserves a positive mention. Thanks again.

The owner Gaston was extremely helpful and friendly. The apartment was well equipped, spacious with comfortable beds. A good breakfast was also provided. The location of the apartment was excellent, easy walking distance to the main hub of Leiden and its attractions, as well as the train station. Would definitely come back to this apartment. -

The comfort and silence after all the traveling. - The staff at Van der Valk Hotel Leiden was wonderful and very helpful.The hotel was very nice and very clean. The bar and restaurant (twoseparate facilities) were very nice as well and a nice addition. Thelocation on the canal was beautiful!
