  We booked expecting a room in a guest house and were stunned to find a beautifully decorated and comfortabe room overlookingt the Amstel river. In addition we also had exclusive use of the whole floor leading tou own coffee ad tea making machine and shower and changing room. Really freindly welcome by Ken. Very centrally placed close to the flower... what people say » market and shopping centre. - The owner, Ken, made us feel very welcome and kept the place clean and tidy every day. Our family room was very large with a double bed, a single bed and two very comfortable sofas;an additional bonus was that you could slide double doors across to separate into two individual bedrooms. The weather outside was cold but the heating was on 24 hours with adjustable radiators.

  Maud was very helpful and wanted to check with us daily. She helped out with any needs we had including the use of other rooms in her house. The room was quiet yet close. - Maude is a really nice host of a truly beautiful house. Made us feel very comfortable. super location... close to everything we liked to visit.

We loved the hotel's room which perfectly blended modern convenience with the charm of the city and of Flemish paintings.   The two brothers who run the apartment hotels are very nice and friendly. We had the two bedroom apartment sharing with my in-laws. The beds were very comfy, the kitchen had everything we would need, the fact that we had a separate toilet and shower was very good. People could get ready for the day quicker this way. The Hop on Hop off bus also has a - Very large 3 bedroom apartment for the price of two hotel rooms. Very large living room with flat screen tv and dvd player. Clean and modern with an excellent coffee machine, but you had to go around the corner to a supermarket to buy all supplies including sugar, special coffee packets for the machine, etc. Free laundry facilities but you need to supply your own detergent. Helpful manager when he is there. Good location close to shopping, restaurants, flea markets, canal boats.

Nothing was too much trouble, breakfast was help yourself and everything was catered for. Location was brilliant, 5 minute walk from Central Stati - This is a wonderfully warm place to stay in Amsterdam. The room was comfortable and the breakfast provided was of a high standard, substantial and constantly varied over the course of our 3 day.
