Amsterdam Bed and Breakfast Barangay is a 15-minute walk from the Anne Frank House and features free Wi-Fi. The rooms come with cable TV, iPod docking station and a radio/alarm clock. This was our 4th trip to Amsterdam, we have stayed in hotels, private apartments etc and I can honestly say that our stay in Baranagay B&B was fantastic, from arriving to checking out it couldn't have been more perfect. Nothing was too much trouble, breakfast was help yourself and everything was catered for. We had our own keys and came and went as we pleased, we didn't feel that we had to stay out all day because it was a B&B. Location was brilliant, 5 minute walk from Central Stati.
all reviews » This is a wonderfully warm place to stay in Amsterdam. Apart from being close to Amsterdam Centraal and many important attractions, the hosts of this B & B are very warm and generous in their welcome. The room was comfortable and the breakfast provided was of a high standard, substantial and constantly varied over the course of our 3 day. You are given keys to the front door as well as your bedroom, so you always have the freedom to come and go as you please. Probably this guest house is one of best places where a tourist may know life in old historical city house inside. Interior is the same as in actual life of amsterdam residents. Location is perfect. Quiet and close to all old city destinations. Owners and stuff are friendly. room is clean and has a lot of facilities and wonderful design. Breakfast is good in beautiful kitchen room. Our awesome experience began right away with being offered a friendly welcome drink. Being a cautious traveler I asked "how much" to which I was told "It's a welcome drink so it's free". Something so simple set off an amazing stay and I knew right away these guys are all about customer comfort and care. The kindness and availability of Wimmo (staff), the very nice and clean room, the position very close to the Amsterdam central station and thus to the city centre. There's also a very nice all you can eat breakfast. I would definitely recommend this B&B. Breakfast in bed was amazing! The owners are lovely, and their 2 cats were very friendly too. Great location, right in the centre. Hotel was clean and very stylish/quirky. Couldn't fault it! Will definitely stay there again next time!. Staff is very nice and kind. The B&B is very close to Amsterdam Central Station and Dam Square. My bedroom was clean and with many facilities: TV, wifi, tea, coffee, fridge. They bring you breakfast to your room. We ordered a room and were upgraded to a beautiful studio apartment with kitchen, coffie machine and a lot of others pleasures. we stayed only one night, and i wish we could stay more. It was AMAZING!!!!!. Near central station. The staff are so nice and give us a lot of help. The room is really big and the design is in style. This is one of the best hotel I have ever lived. I have travelled a lot in Europe. The best B&B I ever stayed in. Simply great. The owners are extremely friendly and cooperative and helped me out of the way. Highly recommended and will definitely stay there again when in Amsterdam. We stayed in the Buddha room on the first level. Breakfast was enjoyable and the staff were friendly. Even though you are in the centre of Amsterdam, it was quiet and has an oasis feeling to it. Faultless :). Room was very nice, well designed, comfortable; bathroom was large and very clean; Goodwin and Wimmo were very nice hosts, very genial, so was Noy. We liked everything! This house is since 18 century so narrow corridor , very steep stairs , poor insulation, small rooms are not reasons for leaving negative feedback. Leaving! :). I don´t have complains. I hope the wifi could be better because it is a little bit slow when in the under ground level. Nothing at all :). Personally not a fan of hard beds, but that's the only negative thing I can say!. Nothing, I can only recommend B&B Barangay. We didn't like the fact of having to share the breakfast area. Nothing. 3rd floor self-service breakfast nook too crowded for us but lots of alternatives nearby. Wifi was sketchy. I thought it was a pity that they did not get their bread and pastries from one of the local bakers. That the door to the patio was locked and I could not access it. Steep stairs;. The cost, visiting Amsterdam is extremely expensive and does not represent good value for a weekend if you are on a budget. Just my opinion and please don't be put off. If you have lot's of cash, go for it!. Nevertheless, be careful if you are sensitive to noises because some of the rooms are directly on the street side and there is just simple windows.... The breakfast was not so good (no fresh bred, no fresh orange juice....) and was very disappointing for a b an b...
