The Old Lady is a restored terrace on the canal in Amsterdam. We rented the apartment which is spacious, comfortable and clean. The building is very well located only minutes from the railway station and right on one of the canals. Most of the city's attractions, shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. The hosts are very cooperative and an excellent breakfast was provided.

Fantastic location just round the corner from Centraal Station, was easy to find - its basically above the Resin coffeeshop. Beds were alright for a short stay, good enough kitchen facilities for us to cook up a couple of very tasty meals. Decent size bathroom with a good shower. We stayed 2 nights at the Crown B&B. The location was fantastic - only a few minutes walk from Centraal Station and surprisingly close to all of the sights. I loved the experience of staying in this beautiful, well maintained, centrally located typical Amsterdam building which was the main reason I picked this place. Was easy to find, but the door is well hidden just before the Indian restaurant, back room very quiet. Owners live upstairs and lower 2 rooms are used as b&b provided croissants, muffins and coffee for breakfast each day. Massive room and a balcony. Shame there wasn't a view! My grown daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights. This was the first stay on a two week trip. If I could have wrapped this room and taken it with us for the rest of trip, I would have! Extremely clean, bright, radiant heat in the bathroom, delightful and very helpful host, and the beds are sooooo comfortable.It was a delight! Stay here, you won't be sorry.
