This is probably the most impressive Bed&Breakfast that we have ever stayed in European countries. At beginning it may appear to be a common cheap and dirty small hotel in downtown. But if you walk up the stairs to the top floor of the old building (Goran was very kind to help with the luggage), you will find a unique, stylish premise which is so different from all the other B&B or small hotels. There are two rooms and we stayed in the one closer to the pantry. The room itself is larger. all reviews »
First of all, when we arrived, Goran (the manager) was waiting for us. He explained everything, gave tips of places to visit the city, showed the whole house and its facilities. I could feel immediately the level of care and love he put even in the smallest details... The location is perfect, less then 10 minutes walk from the train station. The room was very comfortable, very clean, and very cousy. Goran was everyday there to clean, do the beds, fill the fridge, coffee etc... it was more effic.
Kuwadro is a brilliant studio apartment style B&B in the heart of the city. We stayed in the smaller room with the balcony, where my partner proposed after a romantic evening in the city.
The owners are completely lovely, very helpful and the place (despite the very steep stairs to get to it) is very modern and stylish with ingenious storage features and great decor. Would defo recommend this place for anyone looking for something different to a stale hotel room experience.
I LOVED this place. it was extremely clean, nice and Goran and Johnny are quite pleasant. It's very centrally located, and because of this there are so many locks.
