comfort. Everything!. the staff were all lovely and it was right in the middle of everything. the room was real clean.they kept our bags for the day after we checked out which was great so we didnt have to carry them around all day.ideal for young people. helpful staff. The hotel was clean, in an excellent location near to Centraal Station andthe Red Light District. The staff friendly and helpful and on hand 24hrs aday. Some of the negative reviews on here are ridiculous - if you payfor a budget hotel you cannot expect it to be like The Hilton. I'ddefinitely stay there again.

The stairs were steep, but they all are in Amsterdam!. There weren´t so much equipment such as warderobe was too small and there weren´t towel- horse or clothes rack and some glass for toothbrush. And there wasn´t possibillity to have breakfast. Making the beds... No one to help with heavy luggage, especially when room is at the highest floor.Other occupants returning late are very noisy. the reception did not find my reservation even I showed her the letsbookhotel.com reference. The room was never cleaned in three days.Being asked for an exorbitant EUR100 deposit for a remote control for a tv. The tv was about 10 inches in size and wasnt even worth 20 EUR's brand new !!!. The room smelled like smoke. The light was bad. No place to store your clothes. Lack of admospere.Not very clean, very cramped. Very smoky, other guests were loud and kept us up til 3am in the morning, located at edge of red light district. Yes . I asked for a room . and told then if that room is not availablelet me know . they didnt reply back . and they didnt give me the room Ihave asked for. Too expensive for a room with a bed, no clean towels on a daily basis. The rooms are too small and there was no elevator. If you have big luggages and old, no one will help you carry your stuff for you. They did never clean the room. Couln´t watch tv if we didntdeposit 50 euro. steep staircases. I didnt like the stairs, the sheets were dirty, there was pets in the hotel and the staff are not very professional.
