I liked the location of the hotel. It is very close to Amsterdam Central Station. Also, the beds were very comfortable in the room. The hotel staff was very polite and good. We had a nice view on damrak street, comfortable beds. Nice hotel, friendly staff, clean room. Very good location, friendly staff. The bed was excellent. the thing i liked the most bout the hotel is the location is close to all the atractions amsterdam has to offer im 24 :) if ur coming from the airport no need to catch a cab just catch a train to centarl st and save 30 euro the staff is very helpfull especialy Ton very polite and helpfull bout the events that r hapnn in the city. the price is gr8 compare to the rest. all reviews »
comfortable bed, safe, friendly staff, no curfew. It is a nice hotel to stay. No internet (wireless) though promised.nice view on damrak street. The bed. The room was good, it was on the first floor next to reception and we liked it, we didn't heve to climb up to upper floors )) the room was clean and we had a view to Damrak street, no noises from outside, we could all sleep very well ))) the staff was very nice and helpfull )). There were not major problems about this hotel. the stairs is on a very high angle hard to walk up to the 4th floor with a 20kg sute case and hand lugage before they give u a key to the room ask not to be placet on level 4 but if u get a room on hat level make sure its not room numba 44 kinda smal has no veiw.another thing every room has smoke alarm (loud 1)if any one in hotel sets it off the whole hotel gets up imagine that at 3am lol but i was told every hotel in amsterdm has smoke alarms. Signs telling you where to go could have been clearer. the breakfast was in the next door hotel and it was very very poor, but for cheap hotel price it was still ok )) it was very hot in the room, but we managed )). Stairs too narrow, difficult to use. breakfast is not including anymore. no lift, steep stairs. no airconditioning, very hot rooms in summer. Entrance stairs were steep and there was no lift.kinda hard to find the hotel, crappy view from window. Although typical of many Amsterdam hotels, the very steep staircases and no lift presented problems (with bad knee + luggage + 4th floor). Hotel and restaurant for breakfast were a bit difficult to find. Very low ceiling in room made it seem small. Plumbing in bath was very poor. Street noise was quite noticeable.close to the central station. Asked for commission for Visa payment. Some towels were teared out. They didn't made us room up the day before our leave.te the bathroom was small and the was water drainage system in the showers needed to be improved. Our toilet and shower were outside our room - it was for private use for us but in convience to go outside to use it.
No lift - we were on the second floor shiwch wasnt to bad but if you were higher it would be difficult with getting luggage up. If you have lots of luggage dont pick this hotel.Stairs. Poor wifi connection.mosquitoes in room. Lack of hair dryer and towels. It is rather a Hostel than a real Hotel. Stairs, lack of space/facilities. they woke me up in middle of night to say they wanted to move me to another room. We were given a room on our first night where the toilet was across thecorridor - this was not mentioned in hotel description. The hoteldescription on the website was not accurate - hotel services not as goodas your site specified.thin walls lots of noise. the fire-alarm that scare you up in the middle of the night for notting .more than 7 times in 6 night. No lift, very steep staircase. As usual in Amsterdam, my pre-booked room was given away to someone else before my scheduled arrival. After half an hour dispute solution was found, but I had to change rooms during the stay. But as it was said earlier, it is normal in Amsterdam. You will get the same treatment also in the 5-star NH hotels. Therefore recommend to downgrade your expectations.It's not very confortable, we stay in the last room at the 5th floor and slept on 2 signle beds really unconfortable. The stairs, but the stears are a problem everywhere in Netherlands!! Clean bedlinen was provided only twice in a week (should provided every second day). In the offer wireless internet is declared available in the hotel rooms, but in reality was not available. Some time a disagreeable smell came in a bathroom through the holes of the walls.At that week , the internet was not working at the hotel. The first room was really very small the layout was very strange and not well thought out the room was the noisiest I have ever stayed in I have never experienced that level of noise the pipes in the room which were located over the bed rattled and banged everytime someone in another room used the water as there must have been an air lock in the pipes also the staircase was located over the bed!. Please see the mail which will come from hasan.cetinkaya@siemens.com. cleanliness, temperature, plumbing, general state of the building. service, the key was not working for numerous times in one night. too expensive compared with the conditions of room been offered. the room photos showed in the website totally irrelevant.The receptionist was smoking in the reception, sheets were stained with ink, very bad air circulation in the room, smell of cigarette smoke in the bathroom. The knowledge of the receptionists. no internet, the window have water from outside to roonm when raining and the staff may wash the ceiling from up. The hotel was disgracefull , there was mice droppings everywhere!! dirty sheets on bed!!. Mice, Staff, Smell, Accesibility.

The hotel does not have a lift and the stairs are fairly steep.
