  A lot of thanks dedicated to the staff. When the time of our visit about 3days ago,one of the staff wilingly to guide us since we unable to find the place. Even though its late almost 10.30pm and wet with the rained, he came by walked together with the umbrella and fetch us to the hotel. A moment that never be forgotten. Next to a market, a shopping center, and ocean side restaurants. The staff was also friendly and they had their own tour operator in the lobby who offered a great number of tours for prices lower than what I saw offered at many offices.

  I stayed in a double room with private bathroom. Both the room and the bathroom were clean and had windows (not so obvious in Malaysia).   Like the location so much... - Location was fine, close enough to walk to waterfront etc...room larger than expected, but it's getting quite old and worn out. We moved as soon as we found a better option for the price.

  Our usual Kota Kinabalu hotel was full so we hunted around for another good budget hotel. For us, this means a clean, quiet room with everything working and air con, but we're not after anything else, like freshly painted walls, colour coordination, throw pillows etc! City Park hotel is a little more expensive than our usual but the place is in a ... what people say » slightly better state of repair. Everything worked and was clean. The aircon was super quiet and the electric shower worked fine. The staff were frie - The staff at City Park Lodge were the best things over there. The rooms were small and very basic but fine, but even when we missed our flight early the next morning they were very accommodating and helped us in whatever way they could!
