Kuala Lumpur Hotels

We only spent 1 night at the Grand Millenium as we were only transiting overnight - but never the less, we were sad to be leaving. Having read some other reports about check-in, I was concerned - however we had no check in issues - and in fact this was a highlight. We were seated in luxurious comfort for all of 5 minutes until we were checked-in by a very friendly staff-member. Whisked up to our inter-connecting rooms and again nervous about the reports of dated furniture. I wouldn't call it - Giovanni

My husband and I together with a mutual friend stayed in Pacific Regency Hotel Suites after browsing through the reviews on LetsBookHotel. We put in a request to have adjoining rooms; upon check-in there wasn't any adjoining rooms of the same category, hence they upgraded one room to a deluxe room. Free upgrade is always a plus, although check-in could be a bit faster. Free internet access too and the check-in staff threw in a handful of discount vouchers for the hotel facilities (e.g. spa). - Sue

Recently stayed at this hotel. Cant fault it. Had a 2 bed 2 bath apartment, it was huge. Views great, could practically touch the twin towers. Pool deck excellent breakfast more than enough choice but sometimes hard to get a seat. Could walk to most places we wanted to go. Clean, modern in a British way, staff friendly, No complaints so can recommend if you can afford it it certainly is a top place in a top spot. - Catherine

We arrived at the M.O. after 4 nights at the Ritz Carlton, it was running at 100% occupancy and had a real buzz in the lobby and public areas on the ground floor. Overall the rooms are a little more old fashioned and not as spacious as the Ritz but the views are better and the service another notch upwards. As good as the service was at the Ritz, here they seem to anticipate your needs and act in advance rather than respond to a request. This is a great hotel, and so affordable, almost anywhere - Glenn

Zon is run by Malaysian management and it is a very good price serviced apartment in a prime location. KLCC is just a stone throw away and there is a large public park next to it where you could jog in the morning. We initially booked a deluxe room but changed after viewing the bigger executive room. The view is far better too as it faces the spacious carpark and the public park. The deluxe room faces the construction site next door whereby the workers could work up till 9pm every night! The hotel is good, rooms are nice and the staff service is great. Our travel agent (Raj Travels) had not informed them about our requirement for Jain food. (the basis reason why we chose raj on a MAP plan for all our bookings) However the Indian Chef was so helpful. He asked for 30 minutes and made delicacies for us. Something that can never be forgotten. Hats off to the staff specially the CHEF. - Steve

I stayed at Corus Hotel between 19th and 22nd Sept '09. Positives -- Great Location (few minutes walking distance from twin towers, near KLCC MRT) -- Resonable Price -- Clean, tidy rooms -- Flexible staff (They allowed me to check-in at 9:30 am though the actual check-in time is at 2:00 PM!! - with no extra charge, also they allowed me late check out - 2 hours - no charge -- The hop on- hop off bus stops very near to the hotel, incase you are a tourist and would like to explore KL by th - Christine

we stayed in this hotel over my birthday. We had originally booked a standard suite for 2 nights, but was given an upgrade to the deluxe suite. Room was really nice - floor to ceiling windows, very comfortable bed, personal coffee machine with complimentary coffee powder and filter included. The toilet deserves a special mention - very romantic and sexy. This is the first hotel we stayed in Malaysia and we were surprised by how great this place is, especially for what we paid for it. The hotel has everything, lovely big rooms, nice pool, restaurants, gym, etc, etc. It is also very clean in general and the staff are very pleasant and quite helpful. This place is definitely the best start we could have had to our little tour of South East Asia. - Abisola

Location has its ups and down. Besides that the staff and service is impecable. I had no hassle with neither room nor any specific requests. One of my friends got drunk and I requested for a clean up and they were more than obliging. I tipped the house keeping guy and he turned me down politely even though I insisted. We stayed here right at the end of honeymoon before flying the long flight home to London. We were really impressed by it from the moment we arrived. When we checked in, they checked it was our honeymoon, by the tie we got to our room there was a warm, rose-petal filled, candle-lit bath awaiting us - the personal touch made a great starting impression that lasted for our 3 day stay. We had a fabulous stay at the Parkroyal Kuala Lumpur. We had the large room with two queen size beds. Although the room looked a little more jaded than the website photos it was very comfortable, clean, spacious and with all the amenities that you would need. The bathroom was a little dated but there was plenty of hot water, fresh towels and toiletries for the traveller. Without exception everyone one at the hotel was warm and friendly and eager to assist to make our stay comfortable. The breakf - Heather
