The location is excellent, just 5+ mins walk from the main Kyoto station. Price is reasonable for the service and facilities. Rooms are clean and fully equipped. Staff served tea to us every day when we came back to the ryokan. They have a free cultural night event every night run by volunteer staff. They are so friendly and it was really nice learning about their lives in Kyoto, as well as pick up some origami/calligraphy writing. Highly recommended!

When booking a room I asked for a quiet room, and this request has been dealt with in a most perfect manner possible - the view was over a cemetery. Hotel location is absolutely perfect, in pedestrianized Rokkaku-dori, just off the busy Kawaramachi-dori, with hotel being well shielded from traffic by a large UniQlo shop. The room was excellent, not too small, clean and nicely decorated. A beautiful an relaxing place to stay, good for holidays and for a business trip.

This is so good hotel. Very new, very modern, clean and well designed. Very nice breakfasts, free coffee all day long in lobby and very comfortable tables for work. Just one thing — they have that weird check in payment machines, but i am sure they will remove they soon. Very good hotel and very close to Kyoto Central Station — 5 min walk. Definitely and strongly recommended.

This was one of the best hotels we stayed in Japan. The location was very easy, we just took the subway to reach Kokusaikaikan and the directions on the subway took us directly to the hotel. It was a very comfortable and nice room, with free internet. The buffet downstairs was very good for dinner and the surrounding environment was very nice and green. As my older daughter was in the room one day, they didn' t have oppurtinity to clean the room, so they presented us 500 JPY gift check for it.

The Staff were exceedingly good showing genuine attentive detail. There were several good to excellent English speakers at the hotel. Great sleep in a double bed.
