Location: The hotel is just 5-minutes walk from the Kyoto station & located directly beside a subway station. Staffs: The staffs were really friendly. During my stay there, I unfortunately lost my passport & when I approach the lovely lady at the reception, she was really keen to help me out by calling the police station & embassy for me! Just can't thank her enough. Room: The room is well-equipped with air-conditioning, air-cleaner, slippers, a small balcony with table & chair .
all reviews » This is so good hotel. Very new, very modern, clean and well designed. Very nice breakfasts, free coffee all day long in lobby and very comfortable tables for work. Just one thing — they have that weird check in payment machines, but i am sure they will remove they soon. Very good hotel and very close to Kyoto Central Station — 5 min walk. Definitely and strongly recommended. I like the fact that the hotel is closely located to Kyoto station and also to several sight seeing temples and shrines. This saved me so much travel time and money. The facilities are also complete, my room is good enough even for two occupants. The hotel is very new as well which is a bonus! I had a great stay. The hotel is new and feels very clean and comfortable. My room (#914) had a small balcony (but it was way to cold to seat and enjoy the view). Nice public bath and sauna (less attracted me though). There is a free self service laundry room - cloth saver :). The hotel is just across the street from the subway station exit, one stop south of Kyoto train station. Very convenient! The staff is helpful. The interiors are strikingly modern. The food is great, but be prepared to pay 15,000 yen for the breakfast. Good location. Quiet but also close to Kyoto station. Having said that, the subway station (Kuji) is right in front of the hotel, and just one stop from Kyoto station (7 minutes walk). It's all good. A rather high price, but may also be due to our staying during high season of Kyoto. Nothing. Breakfast was too expensive. Not completely clear if it is trying to be a business hotel or a tourist hotel. My husband stayed several nights on his own and thought it was great but usually the single price in a Japanese room is half the double. This is not so here. The single rate was too high, but the double rate was ok. Hotel (and team) was new, so not all procedures run as fast as usual in other hotels. Hotel is located on the quieter side of Kyoto. It take roughly 10 mins to walk to the more lively side of the station so not a huge deal. Nothing I dislike. Was a little difficult to find my way from Kyoto station at first, wish there were bit more instructions. /. Breakfast not included. poor sound insulation, road noise, noise from hallways. Not quite enough, the window doesn't work too much. Slight smell of urine from the toilet even though it appeared quite clean. nothing. Breakfast and location. It's quite a long walk from Kyoto station.
