fantastic location. within walking distance of so many things even when it rained. i would definately recommend Eliza Lodge and would definately stay there again. wonderful breakfast with great service. - The location was fantastic and meant no cabs at the end of the night. Arrived after a long journey was made immediately welcome by door man and reception -reallly could not have been more helpful. Was upgraded on check in to a superb suite with terrace overlooking city and river -just superb . Real quality Hotel with some really nice touches-breakfast freshly cooked and superb. The room was spacious and clean, the beds were comfy, the bathroom was a nice size, and the staff was exceptionally pleasant and helpful. This hotel is perfect if you want to be right smack in Temple Bar, you don't mind the sound of drunken laughter until all hours of the night and/or you are a heavy sleeper. I must say, and I told the hotel, I have never had such a good breakfast experience!
Not only was the food plentiful and hot, but a big plus, served as well. I thoroughly made a pig of myself. An interesting point I would make, the hotel is like the tardis from Dr Who. On the outside it looks like an ordinary b&b but when you get inside it is much larger and'posher' than you expect it to be.
