This is a great hotel to stay with friendly and extremely helpful reception staff. Rooms spacious, clean & huge comfortable bed. Hotel is located close to Christchurch Cathedral (I think) & close to Temple Bar-this is an area with pubs, cafes & cultural aspect, 3 min walk to buses, fabulous location yet the hotel is quiet. Breakfast is good with fresh fruit salad, cereal, toast, cooked breakfast to order. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.
all reviews » Fantastic location, very close to the Temple Bar area of London, one block off a major street and the river, yet tucked back on a side street where there is little noise. The staff bent over backwards to accomodate any requests, from an early breakfast to holding over luggage. Morning breakfast very good. Location less than a block for bus connections both within Dublin and to sites outside the city. Within easy walking to St. Patricks Cathedral, City Hall, Trinity University. Excellent comfortable rooms. Professional staff who went out of their way to attend to several requests promptly. Highly recommend hotel restaurant always excellent service and food. Such a good location I stayed here when I first arrived in Dublin enjoyed it so much that I changed my plans and booked to stay additional days on my return to Dublin before returning home to Australia Keep an eye out for the little Mexican cafe around the corner!!!. A nice suite with comfortable furnishings. The kitchenette was well-stocked and had good equipment. It was quiet, private and just what I was looking for. The bathroom was really nice and well supplied with towels and toiletries. Very thoughtful. The décor was lovely and modern. It was a convenient location and staff were kind enough to provide a map, point out some places to visit and recommend cafes etc. Brilliant!. In the first instance I booked this hotel because it was value for money and I was looking for a city centre location. I was completely satisfied with everything for my night's stay. I would like to thank the staff for an enjoyable stay and I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. We found this hotel to be very well located in the Temple Bar area but not noisy at all. Rooms were fresh and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Shower was powerful. Elevator in building Front desk booked dinner reservations for us and a taxi. All were very helpful. We were in Dublin during a heat wave and so our room was provided with two fans that made the room more comfortable. We were at the hotel for 4 nights and everyone of the staff, including front desk and breakfast staff were very friendly and always pleased to help when we needed it. The room was cleaned to a high standard. The breakfast was of a really high quality with lots of choices and of a reasonable price. The staff were lovely and went out of their way to welcome us and fulfill our requests! The room itself was large, had a great view of the cathedral and was equipped with two fans to help cool the room down. Pillows were very comfortable! Location was perfect, just on the edge of Temple Bar. The location of this hotel is great for those looking to be near Temple Bar without being right in the craziness of it but also is a great location for those wanting to be near good restaurants or the historic churches. Just 1min walk from Temple Bar, in front of ChristChurch and 2mins from St Patrick's Cathedral. The Hotel's staff is veeery kind and helpful. Perfect WiFi connection also in the rooms! We stayed in a triple room, and it had 3 separate single beds. They were pretty tightly fit into the room, however, difficult to accomodate the luggage and other belongings of the group. I enjoyed of whole experience. The bed was quite uncomfortable- it would have been fine with a mattress pad on top of it I think. Breakfast was a little disappointing- especially when a full Irish breakfast didn't include poached or fried eggs and there was no marmalade for the toast. Breakfast not included in the rate and started at 8 am on Saturday -too late for us to enjoy it . Stairs to elevator made carrying luggage a necessity. Overall very good, but a few parts of the hotel could you some fixing up. I would have liked a restaurant in the hotel just for the convenience of being able to stay in one night. The bathroom shower/tub was pretty uncomfortable with a curtain that continually insisted on sticking to your body while showering (though the water pressure was fantastic) and there was a bit of a mold issue on the curtain and wall above the shower. Just one thing.. The sink, too few space for hand washing.. The only problem was the van driver that was connected to the hotel overcharged us, so the price that the hotel said would be guaranteed was not happening! It was very likely the driver's doing! Due to location rear rooms had lots of noises during night which woke me up several times so disturbed sleep. Only 1 slight downside was breakfast was quite slow to be served and a few orders were incorrect but this was minor in comparison to everything else. A few more staff members to help out would have been better. I had nothing negative to say about this hotel. Not that we didn't like it but the bathrooms need a revamp just through wear and tear with it being wood it didn't look as nice as the rest of the rooms. Nothing, though the bar was rather quiet of a night but being in Temple Bar there are plenty of other pub options just around the corner. Having to park car elsewhere.....inevitable I know however we appreciated the discount we could get from being guests of the hotel. Well, I reserved the hotel on letsbookhotel.com and it advertised that breakfast was included in the price. However, when I arrived at the hotel they told me there wasn't a meal plan included in the price. So it cost us an extra 50 euro. Nothing. The nearby clock chiming. Only negative I can point out is that although the shower was big and very comfortable, there was a small leak in the showerhead causing water to squirt all over the bathroom(over the curtain). However I assume that this was just a matter of a small repair and is not common to all rooms. Noisy, hard to sleep. there is one room with single bed. But very confortable anyway. No bars of soap in bathroom we found parking at jurys but clearer directions when booking would be good. Rooms small for 3 people but would be fine for 2 people. Room a bit small. "Soft fried eggs" should not have been hard if cooked to order. Wifi wasnt reliable ,mainly wasn't available Room too hot even with ceiling fan Stale odour in corridor and bar area...musty. Room wasn't cleaned on my last day there but as soon as I asked for clean towels they were replaced immediately and room tidied. Nothing. Nothing. n/a.
