Arrived after a long journey was made immediately welcome by door man and reception -reallly could not have been more helpful. Was upgraded on check in to a superb suite with terrace overlooking city and river -just superb . Real quality Hotel with some really nice touches-breakfast freshly cooked and superb. Staff great. The staff were excellent and the room was lovely. We had a balcony overlooking the Temple Bar which was a really nice touch.

Shade on window was broken. Still, lovely place, nicerooms, good staff--always ready to help. No air conditioning and keeping the windows open made it noisy from surrounding bars at night. No free internet.We had some issues with the heating in the room but these were resolved quickly and efficiently. Very expensive for what it is in terms of decor, size of room, and amenities.our room although big, faced out over the street where we heard very loud music and we had to change rooms. Room service was unusually slow - 35 minutes to have just a pot of tea sent to our room seemed a little slow.Also, the noise outside was very loud at night - but I guess one can blame that on the closeness of Temple Bar. Not having computer access in one's room. Having to use the guest lounge was a little inconvenient. expensive breakfast, expensive services. Also at a 5* hotel internet access should be free. The room is very nice, but too minimal. Two walls were totally empty. Also I have a lot of queries about the "strange" quality of the bathroom tiles. Eventhough they are clean, they look dirty. The bath room is dated and not clean. No tea/coffee making facilities and room was very hot no aircon. Public areas a bit claustrophobic. No air conditioning (Very stuffy in room )or Tea / coffee facilities - would expect in a 5star hotel. Trades on it's name. Squeakiest bed ever slept in kept us awake all night.Added complimentary drinks to my bill! reversed when I pointed it out,. Due to the location of the hotel, the noise from the street wasunbearable and I got no sleep.did not get to meet bono and the boys. It was very loud and the breakfast was to worse the money. There was no obvious air conditioning, despite a note in the room describing the temperature settings. The absence of tea and coffee-making facilities was irritating, particularly when coupled with the high room service charges. Breakfast was extremely poor value for money. Definitely not a five-star hotel, perhaps 3.5. bathroom floor very dirty, and a very squeaky bed. Overpriced: it seemed to be a middle range hotel, small room, with topof the range prices. poor value for money. no chance for late check-out. Staff couldn't even take an order of drinks for 6 people-not trained properly and seemed to be nervous. Tiles in ensuite bathroom were disgraceful. They were so worn looking, black and dirty looking. No air conditioning in the room so had to leave the windows slightly open. Went to bed at 2.30am -had to listen to loud music for an hour, then bin collectors and finally lads collecting keg !!.

Each Superior King Room has a super king-size double bed and they have been individually designed to provide accommodation that is simple, elegant and refined. No two rooms are alike and are decorated in one of the hotel's five signature colours: crimson, royal blue, amethyst, gold and chocolate. Shaker-style furniture, specially crafted beds with Egyptian linens and spacious white tiled bathrooms with pedestal sinks and oak cabinets. Room size – from 221 sq feet or 21 sqm.
