The hotel was clae and excelled on all of the above points.
Myself and my daughter had dinner in the bar and the food was lovely. The level of English for one of the staff members was quite poor but another staff memeber came to the rescue.
The home made chips were lovely as was the pizza.

The staff were excellent post checking out as my daughter left here ring on - We had a very comfortable stay and the best lifts we have ever been in, quick and silent. Also we were able to park our car for the three days that we stayed at the hotel. Breakfasts were excellent and altogether a very pleasant stay.

It is a half a block away so it made it easy to find the city bus tours and the tourism office. The beds were very comfortable which was a definite plus. I must say, and I told the hotel, I have never had such a good breakfast experience!
Not only was the food plentiful and hot, but a big plus, served as well. I thoroughly made a pig of myself. An interesting point I would make, the hotel is like the tardis from Dr Who. On the outside it looks like an ordinary b&b but when you get inside it is much larger and'posher' than you expect it to be.

We found the Ripley excellent. We stayed there initially when we arrived in Dublin, then after touring Ireland for two weeks, we stayed there again before leaving for Wales. Would not have done this if we were not happy.

This hotel is perfect if you want to be right smack in Temple Bar, you don't mind the sound of drunken laughter until all hours of the night and/or you are a heavy sleeper.
