  Although not in the center of Dublin it was a short and inexpensive cab ride away from O'Connell street and had frequent city buses you could also ride into town. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the facilities were extremely nice, it was a great value for the price - It was alittle way out of the city so nice and quiet and excellent bu... what people say » s service to the city. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well serviced. The breakfast choice was excellent and the staff were very attentive.

  The apartment was brightly decorated and spacious. we were not leaving til 12.30 and we were allowed to keep the keys to the apartment til it was time for us to leave for the airport. I will definitely recommend to all my friends and if we return to Dublin I will 100% book again. It's only on the 2nd floor and has a lift to it if you can't use te stairs. The owner was friendly and easy to deal with. We will definately use this place again.

  Location was the only reason we decided on this hotel and it was really worth it. We never used any transport except of tour buses - evetything is a short wack far (quays, Temple bar, the Trinity college). It is situated at O'Connell street where one can find everything he wants - tourist information, hop on buses, one day tours, airport coach, sh... what people say » opping, pubs and a lot of fast food. We went to Powerscourt by a tour bus -five minutes from the hotel.Breakfasts are really great.In the room you hav - The location was extremely convenient to major Dublin sites. It was very quiet at night (I stayed previously in the Temple Bar area and the revelry at night made it impossible to sleep). Breakfast was excellent.   Easily found at the top of OConnell and a little to the right, right above Fibber McGees. Couldnt have got better location for the money spent. Very clean room, dont be fooled by the old exterior, the rooms are modern, clean, and the breakfast is worth the early wakeup call. On arrival a very helpful receptionist was waiting and we must have met 4... what people say » different receptionists who were all very helpful. No hassle leaving our suitcase after midday checkout so we could get some shopping in before our 4 - I am very happy I stayed at the Gate Hotel, the service is wonderful, the location could not be better, I was treated with attention. It was my first time in Dublin and they explained to me how to reach to places, gave me full guidance and even helped me get the best spots for shopping. There is also an area downstairs that connects with local pubs that is very nice and you can hear live music or chill and have a beer in other pubs without having to move out of the hotel. I fully recommend it;

  My girlfriend and I stayed here for one month and I'm glad to say it was such an amazing stay. That staff was awesome and have helped us a lot in everything we needed. The wifi connection was perfect (even in the room), the breakfast was very nice, the rooms and beds were clean (the cleaning staff cleans the room everyday), there were a lot of act... what people say » ivities to do (movies night/special dinner/ice cream night/pub crawl) and the most incredible thing is the location. It is awesome - very close to a v - The hostel is easy to get to from Dublin airport. We got there by coach and it took about 40minutes plus 15minutes walking time. Lots of tourist attractions are nearby and the free walking tour each day is a great way to explore and learn the city's history Staff were very friendly and more than happy to help with directions Breakfast is included which was really convenient. You could also cook your own meals in the kitchen

  I stayed here because of location and the low cost rate- it's student accomadation and I got exactly what I expected- the breakfast was really good- my room was really comfortable- all in all a really great place to stay- no frills but truly great value- Trinity college is the centre of Dublin so its got all on its doorstep and being such a histori... what people say » c place adds to experience- bargain! - Trinity offered excellent value for money in a very central location, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to visit. The staff could not have been more plasant or helpful. Breakfast was better than many hotels I have stayed in.   Awesome hostel. Pretty nice considering the price. Right next to Temple Bar. There is a free walking tour that comes and picks up interested travelers in the morning. Breakfast comes with the booking and is actually pretty good. Met some pretty awesome people in my 12 person mens dorm ended up hanging out and making friends with them. They w... what people say » ill put your belongings in a locked room for 2 euro (recommended). they have free internet in your bed and throughout the hostel as well as a free acc - Location was great, couldnt ask for a better place. Easy to find, and relatively comfortable. I was worried about security of my things before I got there, but once I arrived I felt it would be okay to leave items in my room and had no problems. Can't ask fora better price. $90USD for 3 nights in the heart of Dublin.

The room was clean, comfortable and well stocked with tea/coffee/sugar. Donnybrook location is great -- bus stop a block away, and only 10 minutes north you're downtown, 10 minutes sout - Everything was fantastic, the staff went over and beyond what they were required to do. I was very impressed and left with a fabulous well cared for feeling. You have a great place, very comfortable beds and quiet location. The buses were very easy to get also and handy with all the conveniences over the road. Thanks for a 5* experience. I will definitely be recommending it to others. :)
