I stayed 3 days in Villa Fottini. Its small(9rooms) family house but with friendly and family orientated atmosphere. Its amazing place! Great location, 5min walk to Fira and by bus stop (buses to Oia and Fira), close by supermarket and cafes and restaurants. They pick me up from ferry terminal, showed me few rooms to pick up one I like most. Maria -recepcionist speaks great english and is always (happy and smiley!!) for you;-) . Rooms is medium size but comfortable and with balcony. All inside .
all reviews » two bedrooms apartment has a kitchen, and that gives us a lot of fun. we bought some good taste tomatos and feta cheese and bread in minimarket just beside the villa, and made us very tasty greek salad ^o^ and we tried one night of twin bed room, with a cute balcony, very nice room. and the bus stop is just outside of the villa. above all, the famouse sunset spot is just 5 minutes walk away. At last, thanks maria for her warm smile and quick response to any question. and the villa will pick yo. We only stayed at Villa Fotini for a day and a half, due to a strike with the ferry. Owners were very kind and helpful, fetching us from the port, not charging us the day which we were held up by the ferry. We were given information about which bus to take to Oia, which was just outside the hotel, and the best place to view the famous sunset, which was the castle. Beautiful cobbled alleyways with shops and churches in Oia. Walked along the caldera to Fira, with exceptional scenery. Owners took . We loved our stay there!! Maria and her family helped us a lot, and made our stay at Santorini one of the best experiences of our trip. First, we had a delayed arrival, and Marìa changed our booking, her dad picked us up at the port (and then drove us back at 7 am!!), she recomended places to see, tabernas, pointed us the best of the island!! And the breakfast was the best way to start our day! The location is perfect, just by the bus stop of Firoestafani (way more beautiful than Fira). We hop. I've stayed in Villa Fotini for several days. I have to say it impress me more than I were expected. It's family business, all staff are so kindly to give you muchuseful information and help to handle an answer any questions and problems. The location is close to one of the most famouse spot.The bus to oia is just opposite to the street, Wifi is so good, the breakfast is delicious also. They will pick you up when you arrive and when you leave. So confortable and hospitable. Family operated villa, Maria is very friendly & helpful (thanks again! Maria). Quiet & clean room with air cond. Would highly recommend this place if you are looking for good location & don't mind bit of scenic walk to Fira. Back of villa is the scenic walk with left to Fira & right to Oia. The poster blue roof church is just few minutes away & local bus stop is few steps down the road front of villa. First impression was the out-look of Villa Fotini which was in nice blue & white. Staffs were very friendly and helpful which made us like home really. Our room was neat and organisd with a nice view from balcony. Thank you for the accommodation and I am sure we will come back again soon.^. Maria was very accomodating. I arrived early and called to see if I could check in before 12 and it turned out that the room was ready prior to 12. The hotel is located a short walk to Thira and near the bus. I rented a car and was able to park right next to the hotel. We stayed in two bed apartment for 2 nights; the location is very close to the caldera, the view from the terracy on top of the building is wonderful. The owners (especially Maria) are very hospitable and picked us up at the port and brought us to the airport. The owners are amazing, Maria is very friendly and all the time she was available to help us. And the location is very good too, it's possible go to Fira walking and enjoy the night in a lot of pubs near of the hotel. The prive is other thing sensational. Although our Superject delay 6 hours, the hotel owner still picked up us in the night. The room decoration is comfortable, especially Tiffany blue color. The location is very close to the National geography magazine blue church. The staff at Villa Fortini were excellent. Very friendly providing transport to & from the port & airport for my daughter even though our stay was short - two days. Breakfast was ample and everything was clean. Maria was very nice and welcoming, helping me out with any questions I had. Her brother was also nice enough to pick me up and take me back to the airport. Really great all around. Villa fotini does provide transfer. Maria is always so cheerful whenever I see her. She is really a good host who make you feel comfortable during the stay. This is a perfect place to stay on Santorini! Free airport and port transfer, convenient quit location, clean cozy rooms and very friendly owners!. The staffs were very friendly, and the bus stop is right in front of hotel. the room was a big and clean. I would like to visit again!. The hotel is very good. But unfortunately there was no power in the whole island during these days. Anyway, i like it a lot. The owner is good, she give me some good suggestions. I liked everything about Villa Fottini. the bath water is salt. no elevator, so you have to lift the case upstairs if the room is not in the ground floor. the driver is too old to help. There is not much to say. You get what you pay for and the price was very reasonable for Santorini. If you are expecting a spacious room, a pool overlooking the caldera, etc. then this is not the place for you. If you need a place to sleep and take a shower, then this is a great option. Nothing. Nothing I didn't like. As my room was facing the road, it's a bit noisy at night when vehicles pass by. The facilities is old. Room is a little small but it is clean enough,the wifi is not so good in the room,need improve. A little noisy with being close to a main road. no sea view for us; rather tired.
