Just a short walk into Thira town. We had a balcony with jacuzzi. The view of the caldera is absolutelyt STUNNING. You could literally just enjoy the room or immediate area of restaurants (also with stunning views) and cute shops. The sunsets are also amazing. My only complaint was that the jaccuzzi is only lukewarm,not hot. The room was clean and beautifully decorated. Besides everything that you would expect from a good hotel; cleanliness, helpful staff, size of rooms, etc. our room included a living area with a refrigerator, a small heating stove and sink. And most importantly to Santorini, every room has a balcony or terrace with a table and chairs, plus lounge chairs to enjoy the fantastic sunsets from. The family who runs this place are extremely friendly, personable and helpful. We stayed here for our honeymoon, and they did their best to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Santorini is an incredibly beautiful island and Reverie is perfectly located just outside Thira, which is right in the middle of the island. After Athen and Naxos, we did not think our trip could get any better, but Nomikos Villas was the "icing on the cake." It was easy to see why we originally chose this location - it was perfect - just a 10 minute walk to Fira, with a spectacular view of the islands and the caldera. We had rooms next to each other and a balcony that overlooked the Caldera and water. We could sit in the spa and watch the sunset - absolutely awesome. Rooms were spacious and clean, and contained a fridge (which was handy). Very resonably priced for Santorini. Keep in mind that it's not on the main hill (where all the expensive hotels and restaurants are) but its only about a 10 min walk. The apartments are great as it gives you a little kitchenette to do your own cooking - great if you've got young kids. The pool is fantastic and looks brand new.
