I stayed at Villa Firostefani for 4 nights. Vernilia and Antonio picked me up from the airport and Antonio dropped me off after my stay. The free airport ride made me my 1st visit to Santorini stress-free. I enjoyed the hospitality of the couple and I feel like I stayed in somebody's home rather than a hotel. Vernilia offered me orange juice and gave me a big bottle of water when we arrived at their place. She gave me the triple room when she found out that the single room I reserved was not r.
all reviews » Very satisfied! 1) SERVICE. The house owner is very kind, open-minded, helpful and nice!!! He picked us up on time, he introduced the local culture for us. We spent an excellent vacation in this villa because of him. 2) LOCATION: This villa located in the city centre, there is a bus stop nearby which drives to different travel destinations. It is convenient. 3) PRICE: The price is reasonable concerning their condition, breakfast included, swimming pool provided, wifi connection, air-conditio. Very helpful and friendly hosts.Location is perfect.Good traditional greek breakfast. Walk 5 minutes then you overlook the caldera with good restuarants ,shops, view's ect!!! We will definitly stay there again if the oppertunity arrive. Some people complaining about the traffic noise, well if you explore the island with a motorbike, swim , walk the little villages, eat their lovely greek food, drink wine ect. you so tired when going to bed you dont even here the noise. Its really good value for. The best value for money that we found in Greece! The host couple was extremely nice :) I wish we would have had more changes to listen to Antonio's stories. Not far from the Fira center, there's a nice alleyway from the villa to the center and the views to the caldera are just around the corner. We also had a nice view from our room to the fields and the sea. A great thing was that we were able to use the pool just 50m from the villa for free! The breakfast was good: toast, ham, cheese, crois. Location is great. The staff came to pick us up at the port at 1:10am, free of charge. The owner insisted on carrying my heavy luggage up to our room. Room was clean, had a mini fridge, cute balcony, and nice double bed. Free bottle of water. Bus stop visible from hotel. Breakfast had fresh tomatoes and a nice assortment of food. I left a few clothing items there, and they offered to send them to me for FREE. Now, that is customer service! You won't regret staying at Villa Firostefani!. We booked a double room and we ended up with a huge apartment with 3beds, kitchen and living room with a balcony with an amazing view! The staff as all Greeks, is very friendly and the lady tried everything to make us happy and satisfy our request to "have a balcony if possible". The size then was amazing as well as the comfort and the fantastic location in Firistefani where you can enjoy the most beautiful sunset in the world!. Great welcoming in the hotel. They offered us free transfer almost in the middle of the night. The breakfast was very good, and we really felt welcome there. Caldera is just around the corner. It has very big breakfast in the morning in price 30euro per night . very very good. The shower doesn't have a tent and basically its opened. The floor gets wet and water is all over the places when you are having a shower. The hotel is located near one of the main roads to Fira city center. It has it's pros, but also means that it is relatively noisy in the rooms facing this road during the day and early evening hours. We regret that we didn't stay longer..... None. Toilet and Bathroom can be much cleaner. nearby the road, very noisy during the night. Nothing. nothing. Nothing. The shower curtain was very small. This seems to be a general issue in Greece. A bit noisy in the evening because the hotel faces to the road. Noise from the road !.
