1. The Whole hotel is incrediably nice desighed, to be divided as many levels, from the edge of cliff to very deep of it, the hotel itself is an artwork. although there are rooms at each level, we can enjoy the amazing sea view and sunset view at balcony without any obstruct. 2. Staff are pretty nice, especially the lady at reception and the gentleman who carrys our luggage. It has to go many steps from the parking square to hotel room, we can not do it by ourselves with heavy luggage. 3. Roo.
all reviews » This is one of the best hotels I've ever been to. It is very clean and new with an absolutely breathtaking view of the sea and the volcano. The hotel is on a clif and you will be enjoying the breathtaking view of the sea anywhere in the hotel. There are 80 steps to the hotel but its worth every step (dont worry someone will carry your bags). We stayed 3 nights and we didnt want to leave. The breakfast was good in a very nice area watching the amazing view. Location of the hotel is more than per. We arrived greeted with fresh orange juice and to a wonderful friendly accommodating staff.Beautiful facilities,clean pool and well appointed deck area overlooking caldera.Staff very attentive to all details.Our room had a kitchenette which made our stay even more comfortable and a spacious balcony.Breakfast was fabulous with a great selection of hot and cold items,with lovely eating areas both inside and outside.Definately enjoyed our 4night stay and would highly recommend not only Agali House. Agali Houses was a dream come true during our recent honeymoon stay. We had booked the Sunset Suite which had it's own private pool - we barely left the hotel! The room was spacious and comfortable, with all amenities available. As it was my birthday during our stay, my husband had been in contact with the staff to organize some surprises, and they were very helpful and accommodating. The views were incredible, especially during the famous sunset. Would definitely return back!. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and polite. Room was serviced and cleaned very well. Pool, grounds and common area very well maintained. Very friendly service at breakfast - made a very pleasant start to the day. Excellent setting and views of course. Very much appreciated the upgrade to a larger apartment. Helpful reception staff - offered good advice and made us feel welcome. Wonderful experience, we couldn't speak more highly of Agali houses and their staff, who we found to be friendly, welcoming, proactive and willing to go the extra mile. It's a beautifully designed and very comfortable hotel with picture postcard views. I will go back next summer. Our room offered privacy and a nice balcony, yet close to the swimming pool. Very quiet. Fantastic Place to stay in Santorini..we Loved it!!. Everything. location view pool stuff. Breakfast can be better. No room service. You have to get what you want from the front desk but the room is cleaned very nicely everyday. Showers can be messy as no shower curtain-small issue.Some decks partially join therefore lack a bit of privacy again no big deal. We were advised by the staff to leave any towels that we wanted changed on the floor, which we did - only to find the towels weren't changed, the same towels were just hung up again. It would be good if there was room service - but no big deal.Minor points: - Breakfast was plentful - cooked meats were poorer quality - Room towels could have been softer - some seemed hard and old (but always impeccably clean). Because the hotel and the entire village is built on the side of a cliff, there are a lot of stairs in Santorini. This hotel has a lot of them so if you have any mobility issues this is not the place for you. That said, the views and privacy more than make up for the steps. n/a. We didn't mind, but be advise that you have a minimum of 80 steps to reach the reception from the main street. If out of shape, stay away. Nothing!. Nothing. very poor service very poor breakfast not generous at all. shower was very old had to hold the shower handle, did not stay in the wall. old bathroom for price old furniture no complimentary bottle water when the tap water was not drinking condition.
