location. Near Zoogarten S and U bahn. Pleasant large room on quiet side of building, excellent breakfast.Very cozy/charming hotel. Location is wonderful (heart of berlin, 2 minutes from the ubahn station). Quiet room. No lingering smell of cigarette smoke. Location. courtesy of staff.Very near all attarctions. It was hard to close the door when you were in there and impossible to do anything unless the door was closed.shower curtain that sticks to you, quite possibly the world's slowest, smallest and most rickety lift. When we arrived there was a double bed with one duvet, one pillow and one towel. We did question if we were in the right room and we were assured we were, however it left us questioning why the room was set for only one person! We also found the staff on reception quite abrupt and not as friendly or helpful as we have found elsewhere.Only 6 hangers in a double room. Not enough wardrobe or cupboard space for 2 people. the single room was unusually very small and I did not know that a double room for a single guest would cost the same....The shower curtain was too short. Purely the price. The room and the bathroom are so small, that if you take a shower with the bathroom door opened, the water steam (from the shower) can activate the fire alarm (it happened with me and it was a mess!)...and the manager ignored this fact. room was very , only 1 pillow for 2 person , only 1 towel for 2 persons , had to request more..this should be automatic !!.

Travelling information

By car:
- Travelling on the city motorway A100 (Avus) take the Kurfürstendamm exit and turn left towards the centre.
- Travel to the Gedächtniskirche and after 200 metres turn left into Nürnberger Straße.
- At the next cross road (Kurfürstenstraße) turn right into Ansbacher Straße.
- Turn right again and you will see the hotel on your right hand side.

Coming from Flughafen Tegel take the X9 Tegel Express bus to Bahnhof Zoo (train station). From there take the 100 bus and alight after 3 stops at Bayreuther Straße.
