For Paris this was a great value for money hotel! The quality was excellent, room was large, clean and well isolated. We didn' t have breakfast so we don't know if it is worth it. Location is great for the Marais and Centre Pompidou. the location was excellent for us and enabled us to explore on foot an area of Paris we had not seen before - the Marais, Place des Vosges, St.Paul and our daughter was doing work experience on the top floor of the Pompidou Centre.

We had an odd room on a floor of its own - basically the converted attic. It was a little cool and a little odd as my partner and I are both about 6foot tall and the low ceilings made for a few bumped heads, but also gave us a lovely feeling of being alone and in our own room. Breakfast was expensive so we did not eat there. the rooms that we had were small but we had anticipated that at the time of booking. Asked for two twin beds, got there and was given aqueen and a tiny pullaway bed. Manager offered to switch us for nextday. no tea making facilities. There was a lot of noise from the street and other rooms in the hotel. coffee/tea making facilities in bedroom should be a norm. Reception staff was quite unhelpful and unfriendly at check in. 1. Two rooms booked incorrectly. 2 single people booked in a twin room were offered 1 double bed then had to give an elderly lady a camping bed normally offered to a child. In the other room the king-size bed could be separated. I was badly let down by the inefficient hotel booking system2.
