  We parked our car on Friday and didn't move it 'til Sunday. We walked everywhere and loved it. Right in the middle of Sherbrooke St. action and a nice walk to Old Montreal. V - The Hilton Garden Inn is in a perfect location for visiting all Montreal has to offer. We were lucky enough to be there when the Jazz Festival was on and the venue was within a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Metro stop near by to take you all round the city. The hotel itself is very welcoming with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff and the rooms are large, air conditioned, nicely decorated with very comfortable beds.   I recently stayed here for 1 week while attending a conference. The hotel was an amazing place to stay that is within walking distance to shops, conference centre, metro and old Montreal. I have never come across such helpful, thoughtful and kind staff anywhere else in the world (I lost my passport) The room I had was modern and spotless, the bed ... what people say » was comfortable, air con worked a treat. There was a bit of street noise on Friday and Saturday night but my 3 colleagues who had other rooms said the - Main guy in reception was very knowledgeable about the city, where to go and what to do. Room was perfect for what we wanted, we only found out when we were checking out that we were put in a room they usually give to single travellers but it was more than ample for us.

  The location of the hotel was superb. Right in the heart of the LatinQuarter. The hotel staff was very helpful. The rooms decorated nicelyand extremely quiet to our delight.   We spent 4 nights in the Nelligan and rate this amongst the best of our hotel experiences anywhere. Rooms were spacious and well furnished (exposed brickwork is very stylish). All of the staff we spoke to were extremely helpful and spoke both French and English fluently. Yes, you'll pay a bit more for this hotel but it's def - We loved the feel of the hotel and the way it had been renovated to keep the charm of the exposed bricks and stone. The hotel is located right in the heart of Old Montreal and it is within easy walking distance of great restaurants, bars, art galleries, historic sights and the waterfront.
